How To Match Your Shoes To Your Hobbies?

It stands to reason that you should replace your shoes when they start wearing out, but before committing to a new purchase the first- time you spot a pair of Nike shoes for sale, it is a very good idea to take stock of your lifestyle, and to see whether that which you enjoyed at the time when you bought your old pair of shoes, is still an important part of your life. The reason for this is that your shoes should match the purpose for which they are bought, and if your activities no longer match your shoes, it might be worthwhile to update the type of shoes you are considering for purchase.

One word of caution – take care when you see a pair of shoes for sale that looks great, but is impractical in your real-life application. Look for something that is built to support your interests, whether that is hiking, running, or even a job that keeps you on your feet.

Function over appearance!

Everyone likes the idea of cute shoes, or “cool” shoes at best, but if they are lacking in comfort or protective value, steer clear. The safety and comfort of your feet take priority over everything else, and if you are going to spend your hard-earned money on a pair of shoes, doesn’t it make more sense for you to buy something with integrity, and which will last a long time?

Nothing, but nothing comes close to ill-fitting shoes when it comes to defining extreme discomfort. Shoes that do not fit well, or which are unsuitable for the application that you need them for, will never last. Additionally, you put yourself at great risk of injury by wearing shoes of this description.

Remember that you need to buy your shoes according to purpose – hiking shoes for hiking, running shoes for running, and that there is no reason or excuse to wear the wrong shoe for the job!

Start with what you know.

No-one knows your life and hobbies better than you do, and to be honest, who better to make decisions about your life and your wellbeing than you? While you don’t want to overspend on a pair of Nike shoes for sale that aren’t right for your needs, you also don’t want to UNDER spend, as you then put yourself at risk of buying shoes of inferior quality, which could wear out in a very short period of time, or which could end up hurting you. Never buy inferior shoes for long-term usage, as you will make up for it in injury time.

The first product is the Crystal Nail File (£15) and it is one of the best nail files I have ever used and I always have one as a back up in my desk drawer. This nail file is regularly voted Best Nail File, that is how good it is.

This nail file is slim enough to fit into your makeup bag, weekend bag or even have on your bedside table and it has been designed in such a way that you can use it in both directions, backwards and forwards, across the nail and it is fine to be used on both fingers and toes because it isn't overly abrasive like other nail files I have used.

The second product is the Nourishing Nail & Cuticle Serum Pen (15ml) and ever since it arrived, I have been obsessed with it and I am not the best at remembering to look after my cuticles.

My one issue with Cuticle oils is the faff and mess they create when being used, so most of the time I just don't bother with it, but this serum pen is a whole new ball game. The pin point dispenser, which gives this a crayon look, has been designed to ensure exact precision during the application stage of the serum every time with little or no wastage. The serum is enriched with both Emu and Tea Tree oils which together help to lock in moisture and then work transform dry, damaged nails and cuticles and effectively treats and protects against infection.

Is there ever a pamper pack without a hand cream? This Intensive Hydrating Hand Lotion, 75ml is absolutely divine and it is one of those that just shouts luxury.

This hand treatment is enriched with anti-ageing ingredients such as Hempseed Oil, White Water Lily and Kelp, all of which are usually reserved for facial skincare products. Designed to instantly hydrate, plump the skin, improve skin firmness, elasticity and collagen levels as well as boosting the skin’s moisture levels. The hand lotion smells absolutely beautifully with the scent of Geranium and Mandarin, which delicately lingers on the skin after using.

With this hand treatment, you need just a small, the forums is non-greasy, and added to the ingredient list is the added benefit of Comfrey, which with its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, also to help soothe and protect the hands.

Finally within this gift set is the Intensive Hydrating Foot Lotion (75ml). I am a huge fan of this Foot Lotion and it’s formula and I’ve taken to using it 2-3 times a week to keep my feet in good condition after using a peeling mask. 

This foot lotion has been expertly formulated to work on a treatment level, much like the rest of the products within this collection, for this one we have anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and hydrating properties all in play.

Described as being a lotion helping to protect against the natural ageing process of the feet and gait related changes, which in turn can lead to common foot complaints including dehydrated skin, hard skin build up and tired aching feet, this product is also and good for bone and joint inflammation. 

On the feet, this lotion is delightful to use and it immediately absorbs on contact, moisturising an hydrating the skin of the feet to leave them feeling fresh, soft and smooth to the touch.

Muuse - The Newest Beauty Box Has Launched

The latest beauty box to launch here in the UK is called Muuse. It launched yesterday on International Women's Day and I shared that launch on my Instagram Stories. Described as being a Unique Beauty Box, Muuse, has a team of beauty experts who get together to selected 6 UK based brands.

Each product featured within this box are made in the UK and some of them have been handmade to make it feel even more special. Within this box, Muuse work to highlight new brands and their innovative products which are created by female entrepreneurs to celebrate how amazing, we, as Women are - made even more poignant by the fact it has launched on International Women's Day.

The first product out of the box is the Doctor Formula Ampoule Hydrate Me. Ampoules are very much a thing right now with both high end and high street brands both offering up their versions.

This set of ampoules are described as being "your go-to product" whenever your skin needs an instant boost of hydration and moisture. Each Ampoule is made up of a mixture of renowned plant extracts such as Panax Ginseng and vitamins such as B1, B2, C, D and K which work to supply intensive moisture which in turn leads to create a fresh complexion.

The Ampoules are designed to be used once a day for 7 days, so ideal if your skin does need that pick-me-up.

Made from Hydrogel, this mask is designed to be use on freshly cleansed skin and left for at least 20 minutes, longer if you feel the need. The three main ingredients all have their part to play:

• Hyaluronic Acid helps to lock in moisture and plumps skin to even out fine lines and wrinkles.
• Turmeric works to enhance the skin’s tone for a more even complexion.

This mask is a delight on the skin, the coolness of the hydrogel feels so soothing on the skin.

The third product out of the box is from Smoom with the Naked Night Face Floss, one of the most intriguing products I have come across.

Described as being a smoothing, remedial night cream which is designed to leave your skin feeling refreshed and rejuvenated when you wake up.This product is anhydrous, meaning it contains no water, so that means it is much more concentrated and less is needed when applying.  It contains three main ingredients which are Shea Butter, Lavender Oil and Activated Charcoal.

On the skin, not only does the scent of Lavender bring about a sense of relaxation, but the cream itself has the feel of a fresh cream with a slightly bouncy texture to it.

From Beauty Kubes plastic free Solid Shampoo Kubes which are unique, Vegan and again, unlike anything else I have used before.

Each box of solid shampoo Kubes is packed with what is referred to as being natural, hair loving ingredients and gentle, biodegradable cleansing agents. These particular shampoo kubes are designed for hair which is said to be 'normal to dry' hair. They use Rose extracts, Coconut Milk, Pro-Vitamin B5 as well as Orange and Palmarosa Essential oils and the scent is just divine.

Inside the box is 27 perfectly formed cubed Kubes that each provide enough gentle cleansing power for 1 wash, this ultimately means that one box of Kubes equates to 27 hair washes and all for less than £10.
