W=HB² Power Duo Serum

When news of the W=HB² serum, curiosity got the better of me and I wanted to give it a try. W=Hb2 embraces this duality with the belief that true beauty is defined by your inner health, peace and spiritual wellbeing, something I have been told on one or more occasion at product launches, it is just W-Hb2 has seemingly put a lot more thought into the meaning behind it.

b = beauty – outer reflection, the “Yang”. The mirror of internal balance.

2 = squared – true wellbeing requires spiritual health and beauty as well as physical.

As for the product? Well whilst I know looks are not everything, this is one very luxurious looking product.  With a two-phase, fragrance free, triple action treatment, what you are essentially getting is two products in one bottle thanks to the double pump.  Designed to be applied twice a day after cleansing, the serums work to promote balanced skin health, beauty and protection.  So after cleansing your skin, you simply apply just one pump of Phase 1 and massage it into the skin until it absorbs and then immediately afterwards you apply just one pump again of Phase II and gently massage it into the skin, after which you can complete the rest of your skincare routine.

Phase I For Beauty – REVIVE + REDEFINE + RADIANCE

Both of these serums are so lightweight on the skin, it is quite amazing to see just how far one pump actually goes. A gel-like formula, I have found that they absorb fairly well with minimal massaging needed and as soon as Phase I has settled you can immediately apply Phase II.  Not sticky, not tacky and with no fragrance, it is without question an absolute luxury to use.  I have had this serum in my possession now for a good few months and have been using it as advised and what I have found is that where my skin would usually become quite dry and dull, it is infact the opposite - very hydrated and soft to the touch.  What really stands out for me is that there is some UV and blue light damage repair thanks to the inclusion of Niacinamide, an ingredient my skin just loves.

WALTZ 7 AROMA SHOWER TABS

Whilst I am at my happiest in water, the sea, a pool and obviously the bath, there are those times when I just want to have a relaxing shower, usually when I've got a hair mask on, have a body scrub to remove or just want to be in water there and then and not have to wait for the bath to fill up - yes I know, first world problems.

It is argued that a shower is never as relaxing as a bath, but I beg to differ because it most definitely can be and I was kindly sent some Waltz 7 Aroma Shower Tabs which is quite a mouthful to say admittedly, but it is what they do that counts. For those of you who sit and dream of having a bath in your apartment, flat or home, whichever it is you call your abode, dreaming and wishing to be surrounded by intense fragrances and breathtaking scents that we get from bubbles baths, oils, bombs and creams, these might just be the answer.

These Shower Spa Aroma Tabs do look a little bit like dishwasher tablets, so don't keep them under your sink with your cleaning materials, but they are for your shower and not your dishwasher.  I was not expecting anything at all from these tabs, I have tried similar products and they had been a letdown, so having already decided they would be useless, I was quite taken aback to find that in fact, they are amazing!  

So easy to use, you simply put them in your shower tray, or if you shower is part of your bath, lay them on the floor of the bath and then run the shower as you normally would.  At this point, as soon as the water comes into contact with the tab, and it needs to be fairly hot water, the tabs start to fizz, similarly to a bath bomb and as it does so, some of the most amazing scents are released and you just need to stand there for a few minutes and allow the scents to work their magic.  The tabs are quite big, so you can always break them into two pieces to enjoy more showers whilst using them too!

I have been using three different scents - Inspiring Lemongrass, Energising Mint and Relaxing lavender. All of the fragrances are just as their description states and they use essentials oil for fragrance, so if you want something with a kick them it would be Lemongrass, if you need a bit of a pick me up because you feel a tad sluggish then it is Mint and finally, the perfect one to use before bed is Lavender.  If these are not the scents for you then there are some other options which include Calming Forest, Relaxing Rose, Relaxing Pine and Inspiring Lime.

OSKIA’s Renaissance Mask

I hold my hands up to being a face mask addict, I do use at least 2 a week depending on how my skin is feeling and for me, it is a way to wind down and sit still for those few minutes and not be on the move.  

Oskia is one brand I am really enjoying the discovery of and the Renaissance Mask is described by many as being a Spa in a jar, it is designed to increase cell turnover, boost radiance and gradually reduce the appearance of fine lines and imperfections.

Pink in colour, the balm is just divine on the skin, with a real buttery texture which feels so good on the skin. As soon as it is applied and massaged onto the skin, the pink balm turns white which I find quite therapeutic to watch. As a plumping and brightening enzyme mask for all skin types, it uses some incredible ingredients which include:

• Natural Fruit Acids (AHA’s), including passion fruit, lemon, grape and pineapple fruit acids exfoliate by gently unbinding cells in the top layer of the skin to activate renewal. Enzymes from papaya remove excess and tired skin, cleansing thoroughly and clearing congested pores.

MALIN + GOETZ Essential Kit

In little, over 6 weeks I will be on my merry way, excitedly to Disneyland Paris for the third time in as many years and in just a few weeks I am off back to my family home to spend a week my family, doing the yearly catch up. Using amino acids which thoroughly cleanse without drying, Olive Oil to moisturise and Peppermint which adds the most amazing scent.
• Cilantro conditioner - This is a gentle daily conditioner hydrates and ph balances all hair and scalp types. Using fatty acids deliver lightweight yet intense hydration, Shea Butter to moisturise and natural cilantro to calm and adds a refreshing scent.
