Tili Beauty Box from QVC

I absolutely love beauty boxes and there is quite a lot of them available right now in the UK. From QVC we have the Tili beauty box which stands for Try it, Love it and it has been filled with a carefully-selected combination of the latest must-have products which includes cult brands, new launches and coveted innovations. This Tili Box is a subscription free beauty box which means you can decide as and when you want the box instead of being signed up to subscribe.

Inside the box are ten products and they are:

Alpha-H Liquid Rose Gold (50ml) - If you are a fan of the original Liquid Gold, then you will absolutely love this limited edition version. The formula features the classic Liquid Gold glycolic acid base enriched with a host of aromatic botanicals, including rose, sacred lotus and orchid petal.
SO ME Beauty Brow Shaping Kit
For me, this is a much gentler and calming version of the powerful resurfacing and brightening formula, so if you have slightly sensitive skin, this would be the one to try.  Designed as a treatment to exfoliate away dead skin cells while you sleep and helps to improve the appearance of lines and enlarged pores.

OPI Fiji Collection Nail Polish (15ml) - From the new spring/summer 17 Fiji collection. In each box there is one of the following shades - Getting Nadi On My Honeymoon (lilac-toned pastel pink), Polly Want a Lacquer? (lavender), I Can Never Hut Up (grey holographic shimmer), Suzi Without a Paddle (pastel blue), Two-timing the Zones (vibrant candy pink), Living On the Bula-vard! (coral red), Do You Sea What I Sea? (shimmering royal blue), or Is that a Spear in Your Pocket (teal).

I got the shade Polly Want Lacquer which is a really pretty shade of lilac.

Vita Liberata 10 Minute Tan (20ml) - I like the idea of this self-tan lotion because it can be washed off after just 10 minutes. It then develops into an odour-free and transfer-resistant natural, golden tan within four to six hours and is infused withRosehip and Neroli extracts.

Admittedly I am a fake tan phobe, the dread of turning into an Oompa Loompa fills me with absolute dread so I never ever tan at home, the only time I have fake tan is when someone sprays me!

Erno Laszlo Cleansing Oil and Cleansing Bar (15ml and 17g) - This is described as being a luxurious, premium double-cleanse regime designed to dislodge dirt, make-up and impurities to leave your skin feeling hydrated and soft, and looking refreshed and glowing.

In your Tili box you'll receive one of the following: Firm: plumps and firms the look of your complexion; or Hydrate: helps to restore moisture to your skin.  In my box, I got hydrate which my skin most definitely does need!

It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream (4ml) in medium -  I have seen this brand absolutely everywhere and have never tried it until now. Described as being a pigmented cream formula with a gorgeous formulation and texture.
Tili Beauty Box from QVC
Enriched with hydrolysed collagen, peptides, niacin, hyaluronic acid and vitamins A, B, C and E.  Sadly this shade is too dark for my pale skin but I do love its texture and it also smells incredible, so I need to hunt down a lighter shade.

Julien Farel Vitamin Shampoo (50ml) - I am glad to see this and the conditioner in my bo because they are the perfect size for a weekend away which is what I have coming up soon. The shampoo is described as being perfect for weakened or damaged hair, this rich shampoo designed to cleanse your hair without stripping away natural oils. Enriched with hyaluronic acid, panthenol, and vitamins B, C and E.

Julien Farel Vitamin Conditioner (50ml) - As with the shampoo, the conditioner compliments it and is described as being ideal for weakened or damaged hair, this lightweight conditioner delivers balanced hydration to improve the feeling of manageability without weighing down your hair. Enriched with marine collagen.

Ultrasun Face SPF30 (25ml) - One thing I can never understand is why people use normal suncream for their face, it feels absolutely horrible, thick and caked on.  I use an SPF daily, whatever the weather and for the last week I have been using this product too.
Tili Beauty Box from QVC
The formula is really lightweight on the skin, infact you don't even know it is there.  Described as being a once-a-day, fast-absorbing formula which offers heavy-duty UVA and UVB protection while maintaining your skin's moisture levels and reducing the appearance of wrinkles. It is also ideal for very sensitive skin.

Benefit Roller Lash (3g) - It goes without saying that I absolutely adore this, though my trick is to use the wand for Roller Lash with the formula of They're Real,  find it works much better for me.
Tili Beauty Box from QVC
That said, Roller Lash has a flexible, curled wand and this innovative water-resistant formula is designed to curl and lengthen the look of your lashes. Contains provitamin B5 and serin which looks after your lashes.

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser (30ml) complete with a muslin cloth - A cult product is ever there was one and if you haven't tried it, then grab this box quick!
Tili Beauty Box from QVC
Described as being a rich, indulgent cream, it deeply cleanses to instantly remove daily grime and makeup, even stubborn mascara, to leave skin feeling comfortable, balanced and exceptionally clean. Used with the pure muslin cloth it gently exfoliates, lifting away dead skin cells to reveal a glowing complexion. Enriched with rosemary, chamomile, eucalyptus and cocoa butter.  It goes without saying that I am a huge fan of Liz Earle and I always like to ensure I have this in my stash.

I am sure you will agree that this is quite the box and given it costs just £20 (here) it is worth absolutely every penny and is amazing value for money.  What do think?

SO ME Beauty Brow Shaping Kit

If I could give my teenage self one bit of beauty advice I would shout "Do not tweeze them brows", fair to say it was once acceptable to have a barely there brow but fast forward some ten years and Cara Delvigne sports her bushy brow and I sigh in acceptance that I am just never going to have brows like that.
SO ME Beauty Brow Shaping Kit
I have over the years learnt to deal with the brows I have, they grow at a snails pace but they grow and the urge to pick up the tweezers has all but left my mind.  There is a now a market saturated with products which promise to give you amazing brows, wow brows and even the best brows ever and today I am sharing with you the So Me Brow shaping kit which is designed to scuplt, shape and fill your brows from one handy little compact.

The So Me brow kit is available in three shades - Mocha, Caramel and Espesso. I opted for Caramel as it is an inbetween shade and I have brows that are neither light or dark. Inside the gloriously coloured compant is a mirror, two powders, some stensils and two brow tools - An Angled brush and a Rounded brush.

Inside the kit is also an easy to follow set of instructions which explains how best to use the kit.  The stencils give you an option as to how you want those brows to look - Sexy, Chic or Sublime and the one closest to my own brow shape is Sexy, though I haven't yet used the stencils as I don't feel I need to.

Using the angled brush, you define the brow using the powder and slowly build up the coverage until you are happy with how your brow looks.  The pigmentation within the powder is enough that you can build it up easy or if you are not yet ready for a bold brow, you will find you don't need as much.  Once you are happy with how your brows look you then use the rounded brush with the iridescent highlighter beneth the brow to enhance the look.  I really like the highlighter and have used it for more than my brows. It works perfectly in the corner of your eyes and cupids bow.

I have really enjoyed using this kit, though I do think that given there is space iin the palette for a third tool, a small pair of tweezers would have been a nice touch, it would also stop the brushes rattling around and clanging against one another.

Priced at £24 this is an expensive eyebrow kit when pitted against others on the highstreet. Purchase the range online at so-me.me or in Superdrug and Sainsbury’s stores.
