Glossybox Pride Edition

I am loving Glossybox right now, its been quite some time that I have felt able to say that but the Vegan Box, The Mermaid-esque Under The Sea Box and now this month's Pride Edition Box have all been pretty darn good!
Glossybox Pride Edition

This month, we see a bold collection of products that have been put together with Pride in mind and I absolutely love it. The box which features 6 full-size beauty products worth over £58, has a specially designed outer box. To support with the Pride celebrations GLOSSYBOX have teamed up with Defected Records’ GLITTERBOX to offer two lucky winners free guestlists to the Official Manchester Pride Afterparty on Saturday 25th August, alongside a collaboration with influencers Joseph Harwood and Jack Hayes. GLOSSYBOX’s Pride Edition will also see a competition with BOOHOO for a chance to win their Pride clothing collection and support for Manchester Pride throughout the month.

The first item out of the box this month is the Victoria's Secret Pink Sheet Mask (£5). Packaged inside the rainbow sachet is a nourishing sheet mask which is s=designed to feel like a second skin whilst being worn.
Glossybox Pride Edition
Formulated with Hyaluronic Acid, it is designed to give you up to 15 minutes of chill time before you get ready to party.

Next out of the box is one of the more regular brands ive been getting to know via Glossybox and that is the Trifle Cosmetics Lip & Cheek Jam (£17.50) - Described as being a multitasking product which gives you a healthy flush for up to 10 hours, it can be used on both your cheeks and on your lips.
Glossybox Pride Edition
It is a colour that can be built up or left as sheer as you want it to be. I have been using it on my lips to add a little bit of colour.

A new brand to me is Kaledio Cosmetics and in this months box is the most amazing highlighter in shade Astrolight (£13).  With a formula that allows you to be subtle or totally get your glow on, what surprised me the most is just how pigmented this shade is.
Glossybox Pride Edition
Glossybox Pride Edition
I have used it as an eyeshadow topper twice now, despite it being a highlighter and you can also add a drop or two into your foundation for that dewy look.

For me, 3INA is one of those underrated brands and it is one I really really like and can never seem to leave the Covent Garden store empty-handed.  Within this months box is the Shadow Paint in 703 (£8.95).
Glossybox Pride Edition
I've never used the Shadow Paints before and whilst this isn't a shade I would choose, I do love how it comes packaged and I do like the shade because it isn't too bright a blue. Waterproof and highly pigmented, it can also be used as a liner!

The final two products within this months box come from Rimmel.  Firstly there are some sticker tattoos (£4.99) which admittedly I feel much too old to find them cool, however, said to be waterproof and last for up to 4 days, if you are festival bound they would come in quite handy.
Glossybox Pride Edition
The final item is the Ink Me Stamp (£4.99) which is in the shape of a Heart.  Perfect for celebrating #LoveisLove, this heart stamp is an intense deep black matte shade and it does have a Kat Von D feel about the design and small enough to fit into your handbag too.

I really like this months box. I love the theme, I love the contents and I love how much thought has gone into making this box what it is.

GlossyBox June 2017

June marks the start of British summer, and with Glastonbury, Wimbledon and with picnic season upon us, the latest edition from Glossybox, aptly titled #Parklife it features the perfect edit of products to get you prepped.  Summer saviours come in the form of skincare, hair care, hand care and makeup. A real mixture of products to have you looking your best and in my box, I have the following:
GlossyBox June 2017
GlossyBox June 2017
Louise Pentland, known to many as SprinkelofGlitter, has written her first novel Wilde Like Me and it is included as a nice little extra within the box. Launching at the end of June, Wilde Like Me introduces you to Robin Wilde, a friend you will make for life and a journey you will never forget! Having read the sneak preview, I am actually really looking forward to the book's release.

111Skin’s Space Defence Bright Eye Lift Gel which reduces the appearance of dark circles, minimise puffiness and softens the appearance of fine lines while keeping the eye area hydrated.
GlossyBox June 2017
Formulated with the unique NAC Y2 formula and a combination of copper chlorophyll, caffeine and phytonutrients to stimulate the production of hyaluronic acid, whilst regenerating the skin to give you a rejuvenated, younger-looking appearance.

Sleek Makeup Power Plump Lip Crayon. Sleek is one of my favourite high street brands and the Power Plump Lip Crayons are a really great product.
GlossyBox June 2017
GlossyBox June 2017
GlossyBox June 2017
Using a formula which makes your lip tingle upon application, it encourages blood to rush to your lips giving that fuller lip look. Tingle aside, the pigmentation of these crayons are really quite something and they can be used to line the lips or as a lip colour on the whole lip.

BeautyPro’s Black Diamond PeelOff Mask with Activated Charcoal. This peel-off mask not only cools and soothes the skin,  but the activated charcoal formula works to loosen blackheads and cleanse deep into the pores to remove impurities while clarifying and purifying the skin and rebalancing oily areas.
GlossyBox June 2017
Free of mineral oils, lanolin and petroleum paraben, this peel off mask leaves your skin feeling so fresh and smooth to the touch.

Manna Kadar Sheer Glo. This silky liquid illuminator works to give the skin a pretty gleam. It can mixed with your foundation or moisturiser for a subtle glow.
GlossyBox June 2017
GlossyBox June 2017
You can also apply Sheer Glo on its own to cheekbones, browbones, collarbones, and anywhere else you’d like to catch the light. This is the second product from Manna Kadar that I have tried and like the lip gloss from last months Love Me Beauty Edit (here).

Eness Cosmetics Argan Oil Nourishing Hand Cream. You never can have too many tubes of hand cream and this is one I have never come across before.
GlossyBox June 2017
This hand cream is enriched with natural Argan Oil, Abyssinian Oil and Ylang Ylang Oil, for intense moisturisation and nourishment. With no harmful ingredients such as parabens, petroleum, mineral oil or sulphates, this cream is luxuriously thick and smells incredible.

The final item in the box comes from Batiste and it is the Stylist Shield My Locks Heat & Shine Spray to protect hair from even the hottest of styling tools.
GlossyBox June 2017
Keratin & Inca Inchi infused it is formulated to be used on dry not damp hair so you can heat style and add a sleek mirror shine finish in a hurry.

The June ‘Park Life’ GLOSSYBOX is available for £10 (+P&P) from www.glossybox.co.uk.

New customers can choose their free beauty bundle this month on top of the June GLOSSYBOX when they subscribe. Customers will be presented with an option to select their beauty bundle on the GLOSSYBOX website while stock lasts.

Galentines Glossybox Edition

February is the month many refer to as the month of Love and to kick start it, Glossybox has a special edition box this month.  For Glossybox it is all about having fun out on the town with your BFF or the love of your life for Valentines Day and to that end have included products within the box to make you look even more fabulous.
Galentines Glossybox Edition
Galentines Glossybox Edition
Making an appearance is Iced Frappe from Ciate which is described as being a nude coffee colour and it is one I have used before and really liked it and it is the kind of shade everyone should have in their stash.
Galentines Glossybox Edition
With these polishes from Ciate they are paraben free, gluten-free and vegan friendly too.

Until Glossybox, I had never heard of Steve Laurant but have now had a few products from the range.  In this months box is a really pretty Nude Pop Lip Tint which is described as being gorgeously creamy, cruelty-free, hydrating, highly pigmented but long lasting.
I love how this lip balm is packaged with its Rose Gold lid and the wording says 'Live your life in Color'.

I have seen quite a few products from skinChemists across my social feed over the past few weeks and inside Glossybox is the 24H Aqua Repair Facial Serum.
Galentines Glossybox Edition
Described as being perfect for dry, sensitive and problematic skin types, it uses a delicate blend of advanced active ingredients such as Rose Water to calm and soothe, Aloe Vera for its anti-inflammatory properties and Allantoin aims to moisturise and soothe. Putting all of these together you have a serum which hydrates and soothes the skin for all day moisturisation.

Another brand I have seen across my social feed is Studio10 Beauty.  This month Glossybox have included the Makeup Mist Glow-Plexion which is described as being a mist which can be used as a setting spray as well as a product to instantly prime, refresh and hydrate.
Galentines Glossybox Edition
I love a good multi-tasking product, so I am quite looking forward to seeing how this works.

Finally, in this months Glossybox is a Sleek i-Divine palette.  I absolutely love Sleek palettes especially the i-Divine ones and the palette within my box is Storm.
Galentines Glossybox Edition
The stunning palette contains a variety of shades including neutral, shimmering pinks, beige, dark blue, green & copper shades and they all have storm related names such as Thunderstorm, Gathering Storm and Eye of the Storm Blackout.

I really like this months Glossybox, I love the design of the box its pinkness and the accompanying emojis which adorn the box and the contents give you everything you need for a night out, just as promised.  Glossybox is also wanting to share the love this February and are offering 20% off this special edition box using code ‘GLOSSY’! This will discount 20% off one-month subs right HERE.

Plus... there is also competition runing with Missguided – with a 12 month Glossybox subscription and a £250 Missguided voucher for the winner and their best friend PLUS 3 runners up will win a 3 month Glossybox subscription and a £50 Missguided voucher and you can find that HERE.

January's Glossybox!

It has been a long time coming this month, but here is the January edition of Glossybox! I haven't been all that impressed with Glossybox in the last quarter of the year, some of the products left the mind blogging as to why in earth they would be included and even some of the 'themes' made no sense compared to the accompanying products.

Anyway it is now 2014 and here I am hoping Glossybox have got their act together before I log in and finally hit that cancel button...  Here is the contents of my box:

January's Glossybox

So back to basics is the topic and subject of the box and Glossybox has had a bit of a make-over.  The box is much pinker than usual and glossier and the ribbon on the inside is a nice touch... but the products this month... well:

January's Glossybox

January's Glossybox

Anatomicals Puffy The Eye Bag Slayer Wake-up Under Eye Patches - made me giggle as the name is funny and apparently if you look like a character from The Walking Dead these eye patches should reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and revitalise the delicate area around my eyes.  A full size pack of 3 retails for £6 and in my pack there are two.

January's Glossybox

Vaseline Essential Moisture Lotion - a non-greasy moisture lotion to keep your skin supple and looking great.  This is a 50ml bottle, nowhere near fullsize (which would cost £4.99) not too chuffed to have this in my box as I am not that much of a fan of Vaseline products personally.

Balance Me Super Toning Body Wash - another 50ml product and one I am happy to see because I am a huge fan of the Balance Me range and this is a product I am yet to try.  Said to have a blend of juniper, bergamot, geranium and lavender essential oils, this body wash is a good way to start your day.

January's Glossybox

Yu-Be Moisturising Skin Cream - 2 sample tubes with 3g in each.  This product is a multi-use cult moisturising cream from Japan which revamps your skin, enriching it with Vitamin E, Vitmain B2, Camphor and has a uniquely high glycerine content.  Not heard of this before, but will see what it is like once I use it.

The final product, the one I knew would be in the box is this lovely floral design tweezers from The Vintage Cosmetic Company.  You can never have too many pairs of tweezers and these ones are actually quite good and retail for £8 and I believe the only full sized product in the box!

So, erm that is it! What do you think?

Glossybox - Love Crosses Borders

As February is the month of love, you can expect to see a lot of love-related posts in the next few days from me and my blog.  Having already revealed my his and hers Valentines gift guides, I am sharing with you this month Glossybox is using the theme - Love crosses borders.
Glossybox - Love Crosses Borders
Embracing love across the world, whether you say I love you, Je t'aime, Ich liebe dich or Jeg elsker deg, love really does cross borders.  With that in mind, this month Glossybox features five products and it is said these beauty products work together to give you dewy skin, a kissable pout and gorgeous eye makeup!

The first product from the box is from Floss Beauty, an American beauty brand with their hydrating lip gloss and I have shade ATH.
Glossybox - Love Crosses Borders
Glossybox - Love Crosses Borders
This Blush pink shade of lipgloss isn't sticky or tacky when worn, it is definitely hydrating and I love that you can wear it on its own for a hint of colour or you can wear it over your lipstick, I have found it works really well with most of the shades I wear on a daily basis.

Next out of the box from Starskin Beauty is the Dream Kiss Plumping and Hydrating Bio-Cellulose Mask.
Glossybox - Love Crosses Borders
Using Bio-Cellulose technology, this mask is formulated with naturally fermented Vitamin-rich Coconut Juice. On the lips, this ‘Dreamkiss’ lip mask closely follows the contours of the lips. Infused with a blend of Sea Fern, Collagen and Hyaluronic Acid which instantly works to visibly plump lips, improving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, resulting in a more youthful look.

Another product for the lips comes from Saint Luxe Beauty with this Lip Liner duo. Saint Luxe describes themselves as being a high-end, luxury beauty brand founded on the East Coast.
Glossybox - Love Crosses Borders

Lip liners are not products I ever rush out to purchase, I have been using the same two for as long as I can remember.  From Saint Luxe, this Lip Liner Duo in shades Crush and Cupid.  Crush is a deep red shade and Cupid is more of a mauve pink and what I really like about these liners is how soft and smooth they are when applied to the lips, instead of giving that dragging feel, they glide effortlessly and I have been wearing Cupid with the Floss lipgloss above as a duo for the last few days.

The fourth product from my box comes from Figs & Rouge, a brand I have come to know through beauty boxes and within this one we have the Wonder Love Charm Glow Elixir.
Glossybox - Love Crosses Borders
Glossybox - Love Crosses Borders
The Glow Elixir which has been newly launched is formulated using hydrating hyaluronic acid and Vitamins A, C and E which work alongside minerals, rose water and rose quartz, so it looks after your skin as well as giving you a lovely glow. To use, it is advised that you need 3-6 drops directly onto freshly cleansed skin. From the unedited swatch above, you can see there is a slight glow from those drops.

The final product within my box is a Glossybox angled lip brush. The brush which features a lightweight wooden handle and is decorated in the Glossybox Pink colour.
Glossybox - Love Crosses Borders
The hairs on this brush are 100% synthetic and are angled to allow for a more precise application, while the smooth, yet firm, bristles provide control and an immaculate, expert finish.

I think this is another really good box from Glossybox and one which features products I am definitely using for myself.

As always you can subscribe to Glossybox right here and if you use the code BQUEEN20 you can get yourself 20% off that first box!
