Evolve Organic Beauty Timeless Renewal Hand Cream

The pre-Christmas clean followed by the post Christmas clean is never good for my hands, even though I wear rubber gloves. I am prone to dry skin around the bottom and side of my palms, so I am a bit of a hand cream fanatic. Today, I want to introduce you to the Evolve Organic Beauty Timeless Renewal Hand Cream.
Evolve Organic Beauty Timeless Renewal Hand Cream
Evolve Organic beauty is a brand I have worked with since 2017 and still I absolutely love them as a brand especially the Radiant Glow Mask, which I have purchased more times than I can remember!

The Timeless Renewal Hand Cream is perfect for all skin types, particularly ageing and mature or dry skin. This Bio-Retinol hand cream works to not only tackle signs of ageing such as wrinkles and age spots but it also helps to prevent dryness whilst repairing the skin’s barrier layer. Using moisture retaining Ceramides and rejuvenating Bio-Retinol which work together to keep hands feeling nourished, soft and smooth even after washing. With three key ingredients to make this cream what it is, you will find:
  • Bidens Pilosa: This is a sustainable Bio Retinol analogue from the plant Bidens Pilosa and it works to smooth, stimulate collagen synthesis and rejuvenate the skin whilst helping to reduce the appearance of age spots. It is also proven to reduce wrinkles and improve skin elasticity, leaving the skin visibly younger, firmer and more luminous.
  • Ceramides: Ceramides repair the skin barrier, improve skin comfort, roughness, and reduce dryness for super soft and smooth hands.
  • Rose Geranium and Mandarin Essential Oils: Rose Geranium and Mandarin essential oils tone, firm and increase elasticity of the skin, preventing skin ageing and wrinkling.
As you can imagine, this is an amazing hand cream.  I particularly like the texture, it is thick enough to give your hands some TLC whilst soothing, smoothing and repairing your hands.
Evolve Organic Beauty Timeless Renewal Hand Cream

If you are familiar with Evolve, then you will know that this hand cream is going to be something special. This anti ageing hand cream is described as being a treat for both the senses and the skin, thanks to the inclusion of uplifting fragrance blend of Rose Geranium, Ylang Ylang, Mandarin and Vanilla which not only balance and calm the senses but the essential oils of both Rose Geranium and Mandarin also tone, firm and increase elasticity of the skin, for the ultimate dose of TLC for hard working hands.

Want to know what is even more amazing? This hand cream tube is made of green plastic that comes from sugar cane bagasse, a waste product of the sugar industry. Life-cycle analysis done by the manufacturer of the sugarcane plastic shows that it absorbs more carbon than it generates in production.

You can find the Evolve Organic Beauty Timeless Renewal Hand Cream and all the other amazing products this brand has to offer right here.

Pure Repair Hand and Nail Care with Margaret Dabbs London

As a brand, Margaret Dabbs is one I trust with my hand and nail care. It is a brand I have been lucky enough to get to know over the past 18 months or so and there has been some amazing products that has been released in that time. The latest launches, the Pure Repairing Hand Cream and Cuticle Oil are just divine.
Pure Repair Hand and Nail Care with Margaret Dabbs London
The PURE Repairing Hand Cream is described as being 'a Hand Cream with a clear difference'. If your hands are in need of an intensive treatment then this is the cream that you might just need.

The intensive repairing formulation with something called Pentavitin™, which is said to be a natural skin bioactive that brings dry and tired skin back to life by providing deep lasting hydration. Then we have Vitamin F Forte which helps to nurture, protect condition and soothe excessively dry, stressed skin and then we have the inclusion of Sweet Almond oil which works to soften and smooth the skin.
Pure Repair Hand and Nail Care with Margaret Dabbs London
On the skin, this hand cream is incredibly luxurious, as I have come to expect from Margaret Dabbs as a brand, but it also absorbs really quickly and it feels so silky smooth without being greasy or slimy and it does leave your hands feeling so hydrated.

Looking after my cuticles is really something that I can never claim to be good at because I am just not. But since the PURE Cuticle Oil arrived, I have actually made the effort to use it.
Pure Repair Hand and Nail Care with Margaret Dabbs London
Packaged inside a frosted roller-ball glass tube, the whole product has been designed to make using it easy and hassle free. The cuticle, which we all know is a really thin layer of skin at the bottom of your nail and its function is to protect new nails from bacteria when they grow out from the nail root. Cuticles and the surrounding area are delicate, and like other areas of the body, they can easily become dry, dehydrated or damaged if you don't look after them.  With its delicate rose and lemon scent, this vegan-friendly dry oil is infused with Jojoba Oil and Borage Seed Oil  which work to smooth, condition and hydrate the cuticles, whilst Bisabolol helps to soothe sensitive or irritated skin as well as split or damaged cuticles.

As a duo, this hand cream and cuticle oil come together to create a great routine and they can be purchased as a duo or separately.

L’Occitane Serum-in-Cream Youth Hand Cream

Without question, L'Occitane have the best hand creams, the Almond version I go through tube after tube after tube. The latest addition to the line up is something a little different with the Serum-in-Cream Youth Hand Cream.
L’Occitane Serum-in-Cream Youth Hand Cream
Described as being an innovative serum-in-cream formula, the Youth Hand Cream is a fusion of the nourishing benefits of shea butter (5%) and age-defying technology of the immortelle flower to diminish the visible signs of ageing on hands.  I am sure like everyone else, over the last 20 months, the over washing and sanitising of hands has taken its toll and whilst I am already obsessed with applying handcream, this has only meant I have been applying more.

With the inclusion of Shea butter which is famous for its nourishing and moisturising properties, it has Immortelle Extract and Immortelle Essential Oil which are said to be more effective than Vitamin E when it comes to protecting the skin, it is also has a high content of Omegas 9 & 6 which when they are all together, not only do they help to reduce the appearance of the visible signs of ageing but also increase the elasticity of the skin.  Then we have Hibiscus which helps to encourage skin renewal,  but as an ingredient it is usually used for its ability to help with hyperpigmentation and dead skin cells.
L’Occitane Serum-in-Cream Youth Hand Cream
L’Occitane Serum-in-Cream Youth Hand Cream
On the skin, this serum-in-cream has a slightly lighter texture than the L'Occitane hand creams but feels absolutely divine on the skin and absorbs really quickly and leaves behind a lovely light fragrance. It is worth noting that this cream is neither greasy or tacky on the skin and it boasts 97% natural origin ingredients and is housed in a 95% recycled aluminium tube.

Priced at £24 with L'Occitane, it is worth trying if your hands are in need of some TLC and I have also used it on my elbows and around my wrists which have been really dry lately and it is an absolute dream.

Temple Spa Mani-Pedi Cures Hand & Foot Care Essentials

Temple Spa, a brand synonymous with skincare and spa treatments recently launched their Mani-Pedi Cures Hand & Foot Care Essentials Range which I have been using for the last 6 weeks or so and it is such a great gift set.
Temple Spa Mani-Pedi Cures Hand & Foot Care Essentials
Nestled inside the brightest and handy to have decorated tin, the Mani-Pedi-Cures hand & Foot Care Essentials, £30, is described as being the ultimate tin of everything you need to prep your hands, feet and nails for a manicure and pedicure from the comfort of your own home.  With it came the most beautiful collection of nail polish, which will feature in another post.

The Mani-Pedi-Cure collection features 5 essential hand and foot care products. It comes as no dramatic headline, but it always serves as a timely reminder that we use our hands and feet constantly, im not the biggest fan of anyone's trotters, including my own, but I still take care of them as best I can and Temple Spa make the task a whole lot more easier with products such as this.
Temple Spa Mani-Pedi Cures Hand & Foot Care Essentials
All five of these products nestle neatly into this tin, so it is great for being able to keep your products together, always knowing where they are.

The First product out of the tin is Temple Spa Sugar Buff. Temple Spa describe this scrub as being their best and not only does it smell absolutely incredible, it is formulated with a whole host of incredible ingredients to leave your skin, on both your hands and feet incredibly soft and smooth.
Temple Spa Mani-Pedi Cures Hand & Foot Care Essentials
Designed to remove dead and dry skin cells, this sugar inspired scrub also features a blend of hydrating olive and grape seed oil, fig, pomegranate, vitamin E plus a relaxing cocktail of essential oils including lavender, patchouli, clove, eucalyptus and rosemary. On the skin, you can definitely feel the scrub working on the skin, though it isn't abrasive and doesn't scratch the surface, instead it does a really good job at removing that skin.

The second product in the tin is a brand new product and one Temple Spa are really proud of and having used it I can see why, that product is the The From Strength To Strength Nail & Cuticle Treatment Serum.
Temple Spa Mani-Pedi Cures Hand & Foot Care Essentials
This From Strength To Strength Nail & Cuticle Treatment Serum which is infused with a powerful blend of 65 minerals including calcium, zinc, Iron and magnesium which work to not only improve the condition of your nails but also those cuticles which, if you are anything like me, you neglect until they weaken and then need some TLC.   This treatment serum, which has a fairly thick texture, absorbs really quickly and leaves behind nourished feeling cuticles.

Palm Balm is one of Temple Spa's award-winning products which is an intensive hand cream for dry hands is luxuriously nourishing and hydrating.
Temple Spa Mani-Pedi Cures Hand & Foot Care Essentials
This Nourishing Palm Balm has a really lovely non-greasy texture which is really fast absorbing when applied to the hands. It is infused with the essential oils of lemon, lavender and bergamot, as well as extracts of aloe vera, jojoba to soothe, hydrate and moisturise. Plus there is the inclusion of both Vitamin C and E which together help to replenish and balance dehydrated skin as well as reviving dull skin.

Having looked after the palms of your hands the soles of your feet are just as important, after all they carry us and our stresses and worries around all day. Sole Balm, which is described as being a nourishing foot balm.
Temple Spa Mani-Pedi Cures Hand & Foot Care Essentials
This balm, which again is non-greasy and absorbs incredibly quickly, is made up of a powerful blend of 22 Mediterranean essential oils help to alleviate tension and tiredness, as well as a plethora of botanicals and essential oils such as cocoa butter, honey, papaya, olive, soy and avocado which come together and work to deeply moisturise. Also included is a selection of exfoliating enzymes who gently work to slough away those dead and dry skin cells, so those rough bits of skin which can be too stubborn to disappear become softer and softer. Then finally we have the inclusion of both Peppermint oil and menthol which are incredibly soothing on the skin.

The final item within this Mani-Pedi-Cures selection is the Temple Spa Glass Nail File and if you have never used a nail file like this one, then you need to get one quick.
Temple Spa Mani-Pedi Cures Hand & Foot Care Essentials
A glass nail file is an absolute must for anyone who wants to take care of their nails. Not only are they much gentler on your nails than the more traditional emery board files, the grit that you can feel on these glass nail files is super finely sanded down, which means you will be able to create a clean, smooth, “sealed” edge on your nails rather than a jagged, torn edge and in turn this means your nails will not peel and chip as easily as they might have done. I have definitely noticed a difference in my nails between switching from a traditional nail file to a glass nail file with peeling and chipping.

This Temple Spa Mani-Pedi Cures Hand & Foot Care Essentials Kit is really lovely to have and it would also make quite the gift, particularly because it is really well presented and it costs just £30, which is an absolute bargain.

Emma Hardie Moisturising Hand Sanitiser

Now this is one launch that I definitely did not see coming, I always hope there will be a bath/shower product one day, bringing to life that most amazing Moringa scent, but I am glad I now have more Emma Hardie products to play with - you could say I am a bit of a fan!
Emma Hardie Moisturising Hand Sanitiser
I am sure I won't be the only one who was using hand sanitiser before it became part of your everyday routine, the only thing that has changed for me is that I am now using ones which contain much more alcohol which in turn means I need a whole lot more hand cream to prevent my hands from drying out. But... what if there was a brand who managed to combat both issues? Well there is!

Sitting within the Amazing face collection comes the Emma Hardie Moisturising Hands Sanitiser which is available in two different sizes - 240ml and 60ml and right now both are an absolute must have - the 60ml being in my handbag to use as I am on the go. This Moisturising Hands Sanitiser is a little different from the ones I have been using because you can use it to wash your hands as well as sanitise your hands and despite being 70% alcohol it features some pretty amazing ingredients which work to prevent your hands feeling dry and in need of some TLC.

Ingredients such as Aquaxyl works to boost moisture levels in the skin, boosts hyaluronic acid and reinforces the skins natural barrier within 24 hours. Then we have an ingredient called Polustop which creates a protective film over the hands preventing cell damage. But when you use the product there is this most wonderful scent which isn’t overpowering and definitely was not what I was expecting, but we have both Tea tree and Eucalyptus which, if you have used them within products, you will be aware that they both have amazing antibacterial properties and then of course the wonder that is Lavender and it works to calm and soothe the skin as well as being wonderfully calming in many other ways too.
Emma Hardie Moisturising Hand Sanitiser
Then we come to the texture. Most hand sanitisers that I have used are either gel like or more of a foam and most of them smell like you’ve opened a cheap bottle of vodka and could get drunk off the fumes or they smell like fly spray. This one is more of a lightweight serum, perfect for using dry or for hand washing as mentioned already. On the skin it absorbs really quickly and there is no sticky or tacky feeling as thought you’ve just covered your hands in Pritt Stick, instead my hands are so soft and smooth, I’ve put all my other hand sanitisers away and just use this one.

There is nothing I dislike about this Emma Hardie Moisturising Hands Sanitiser, it is 70% alcohol, it kills 99.9% of bacteria and viruses, smells divine, doesn’t sting or leave the skin sticky after using and I love it.

On sale with Emma Hardie, you can find the travel size for just £7 and the bigger 240ml pump bottle for just £18.

Special Moments Mother’s Day Set - Margaret Dabbs London

This coming Sunday is Mother’s Day, a day which is said to be an annual reminder to say thank you to the special person who has done and still continues to do so much for you. Like many of you, I haven't been able to see my Mam in person for over a year now, the odd Facetime or text is as much as I have been able to do and whilst I do live over 200 miles away from my family home, I never forget Mother's Day.
Special Moments Mother’s Day Set - Margaret Dabbs London
This year, Margaret Dabbs London has put together two wonderfully luxurious care packages as a gift to those people we call Mum, Mam, Mom, Step-mum, Mother and not forgetting those Gran's, Nan, Nanna, Grandma or whatever other affectionate name you might use. These packages have been carefully put together to ensure this person has everything she needs to have some time out for a pampering of her hands and feet, which of course for the time being will be at home.

Whether that’s mum, step-mum, grandmother or another special person who is always there for you, treat them with a pamper package to really make sure they feel loved this year, in true lockdown style. Margaret Dabbs London has put together two beautiful, luxury care packages that give her everything she needs to feel pampered from her hands to her toes. With anti-ageing ingredients that really work, these results-driven, highly effective treatment products for feet, hands and legs are a joy to use, and are sure to add a touch of indulgence to her day, no matter how busy her schedule.

The Special Moments Mother’s Day Set (RRP £55 - Offer Price £45) features four products to pamper those hands and feet and as I am a huge fan of the brand, I have been enjoying pampering myself.

The first product is the Crystal Nail File (£15) and it is one of the best nail files I have ever used and I always have one as a back up in my desk drawer. This nail file is regularly voted Best Nail File, that is how good it is.
Special Moments Mother’s Day Set - Margaret Dabbs London
This nail file is slim enough to fit into your makeup bag, weekend bag or even have on your bedside table and it has been designed in such a way that you can use it in both directions, backwards and forwards, across the nail and it is fine to be used on both fingers and toes because it isn't overly abrasive like other nail files I have used.

The second product is the Nourishing Nail & Cuticle Serum Pen (15ml) and ever since it arrived, I have been obsessed with it and I am not the best at remembering to look after my cuticles.
Special Moments Mother’s Day Set - Margaret Dabbs London
My one issue with Cuticle oils is the faff and mess they create when being used, so most of the time I just don't bother with it, but this serum pen is a whole new ball game. The pin point dispenser, which gives this a crayon look, has been designed to ensure exact precision during the application stage of the serum every time with little or no wastage. The serum is enriched with both Emu and Tea Tree oils which together help to lock in moisture and then work transform dry, damaged nails and cuticles and effectively treats and protects against infection.

Is there ever a pamper pack without a hand cream? This Intensive Hydrating Hand Lotion, 75ml is absolutely divine and it is one of those that just shouts luxury.
Special Moments Mother’s Day Set - Margaret Dabbs London
This hand treatment is enriched with anti-ageing ingredients such as Hempseed Oil, White Water Lily and Kelp, all of which are usually reserved for facial skincare products. Designed to instantly hydrate, plump the skin, improve skin firmness, elasticity and collagen levels as well as boosting the skin’s moisture levels. The hand lotion smells absolutely beautifully with the scent of Geranium and Mandarin, which delicately lingers on the skin after using.

With this hand treatment, you need just a small, the forums is non-greasy, and added to the ingredient list is the added benefit of Comfrey, which with its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, also to help soothe and protect the hands.

Finally within this gift set is the Intensive Hydrating Foot Lotion (75ml). I am a huge fan of this Foot Lotion and it’s formula and I’ve taken to using it 2-3 times a week to keep my feet in good condition after using a peeling mask.
Special Moments Mother’s Day Set - Margaret Dabbs London
This foot lotion has been expertly formulated to work on a treatment level, much like the rest of the products within this collection, for this one we have anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and hydrating properties all in play.

Described as being a lotion helping to protect against the natural ageing process of the feet and gait related changes, which in turn can lead to common foot complaints including dehydrated skin, hard skin build up and tired aching feet, this product is also and good for bone and joint inflammation.

On the feet, this lotion is delightful to use and it immediately absorbs on contact, moisturising an hydrating the skin of the feet to leave them feeling fresh, soft and smooth to the touch.

Without question, these products from Margaret Dabbs London* are as luxurious as it gets when it comes to products for the hands and feet - they are very much more treatment than your average high street cream. Together they create a wonderful pampering routine for the most hardworking parts of the body - your hands and your feet!

The Body Shop Purify and Protect with the Lemon Routine

The Body Shop have had some amazing launches over the last 12 months. Now it is time for another.  Over the last year, we have all been made more than aware of the important of washing our hands. It seems an odd thing to have to teach people and remind them constantly to do, but needs must. With the constant need for hand washing and sanitising, come further issues of dry and irritated hands for some and thus the need for hand cream and other lotions and potions for some TLC.
The Body Shop Purify and Protect with the Lemon Routine
To help with all of the above, The Body Shop has launched a brand new Lemon purify and protect routine which is made up of three simple steps - antibacterial, intense cleanse and then finally care & perfect.  The entire range is made using Lemon essential oil, an ingredient which is known for its purifying properties and of course its notable scent.

The first stage of The Body Shop Purify and Protect routine starts with the antibacterial stage, for this we have the Lemon Cleansing Antibacterial Hand Sanitizer which, is sold in either a handbag sized 100ml or a bigger 250ml size.
The Body Shop Purify and Protect with the Lemon Routine
Incredibly zesty in scent, this hand sanitizer is not only designed to keep your hands clean and germ free it also keeps them smelling clean too. Perfect for use when there is no soap to hand, this sanitizer is made up of almost 70% alcohol to help protect against germs and viruses.

The second product for step two is the Intense Cleanse stage which features three different products - a hair and body wash, a face wash or the product I am sharing with you today, the Lemon Purifying hand wash
The Body Shop Purify and Protect with the Lemon Routine
Designed to keep your hands fresh throughout the day, this hand wash is enriched with natural lemon essential oil which is known for its purifying properties, it helps wash away bacteria and impurities, leaving hands feeling squeaky clean. It thankfully comes packaged in a pump action, recyclable, bottle which makes dispensing the hand wash simple and straightforward, with one pump being enough to clean your hands.

For the third stage, which is known as the Care & Protect stage, there is two products - the Lemon Caring & Purifying Hair Mist or the product I am sharing, which is the Lemon Protecting Hand & Body Lotion.
The Body Shop Purify and Protect with the Lemon Routine
This lotion smells absolutely incredible, think the fresh scent of freshly squeezed lemon but with added sweetness. Enriched with natural lemon essential oil known for its purifying properties, it leaves skin feeling protected and rehydrated after frequent washing, for which there is also the inclusion of both Shea Butter and Olive Oil.

The lotion itself isn't too thick a texture, so once on the skin it begins to absorb on contact, with very little need for a lot of massaging into the hands and body. Once it has absorbed, there is no greasy film or residue on the skin, but what you are left with is the tangy scent of lemon, which I just adore.

This Purify and Protect collection is on sale right now* at the Body Shop with prices starting at just £6 and you can find it right here.

Naf Stuff - Safe, Happy Hands

There is no getting away from the C word - Christmas now have a rival for the title that gives a groan - Coronavirus!  Over the last 6 months, you have probably washed your hands more, sang happy Birthday so many times you never want to hear it again, been through countless wipes, gels and other lotions and potions which promise to kill 99.9% of germs.  Sanitizing out hands has become the norm, but it can be cute and fun too.
Naf Stuff - Safe, Happy Hands
Naf! Stuff kindly sent over this adorable little collection of products. It features a Mint & Eucalyptus Hand Sanitiser and Hand Mist which fit perfectly into the accompanying cloth bag and then fits into your handbag. Naf! Stuff are a Vegan & Cruelty free hand and nail care product brand who offer all things nails - oils, pens, SOS Kits and so much more.

The Mint & Eucalyptus Hand Sanitser (£7 50ml) is vegan-friendly and contains 62% alcohol and when sprayed onto your hands, rather than have a really strong scent of cheap sambuca (like Ikea) it actually smells fresh thanks to both the mint, which is the dominant scent and then the Eucalyptus which is there in the background. Anyone who is familiar with the Bath and Bodyworks Eucalyptus Mint candles will know the scent I am trying to describe - it is that one.

As well as those two scents there is also a few others worth mentioning too:
  • Alcohol: An Antiseptic & a disinfectant, it’s an essential to sanitise your hands on the go!
  • Glycerin: a natural moisturiser to counteract the drying qualities of alcohol, and protect against irritation
  • Aloe Vera Leaf Juice: this one has many benefits to the skin thanks to it's high water content. It's hydrating, soothing, cooling & anti-inflammatory and helps the skin to regenerate
So, not only is this a sanitiser which protects the hands, it also has moisturising properties too.

The Hydrating Hand Care Mist (£10 50ml) is perfect to be used any time of day with or without the sanitiser and for me, I tend to use it after washing my hands or if I have been in a public
space. As with the sanitiser, this spray uses
  • Eucalyptus Oil: an essential oil famous for its antibacterial properties and fresh, clean scent
  • Tea Tree Leaf Oil: an A+ ingredient... antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal!
  • Pentylene Glycol: super hydrating, antimicrobial and will leave your hands with a silky finish after use.
It is a lovely way to refresh your hands at any point during the day and it is the one I have reached for the most since they both arrived.

You can find both of these products here via Naf! Stuff and they can be purchased on their own or as part of a little kit, like I have for £15. Neither products leave your hands feeling dry or lacking in moisture, if anything it is the opposite, lovely smooth, fresh scented hands.

House of Cats Hand and Body Collection

If ever there was a collection of products with the perfect name for me, it is this one - House of Cats. The House of Cats is a described as being a Manicure and Prosecco bar (how perfect) here in London and as well as looking after your hands and feet, The House of Cats have curated their very own range of products too.
House of Cats Hand and Body Collection
As you can see, the products look absolutely stunning and the lovely people at The House of Cats very kindly sent me a beautiful package of products to try. Included within the package is the Aloe Vera Hygiene Gel, Two bottles of Cuticle Oil, an Ultra Rich Hand & Body Cream plus an Ultra Rich Foot Cream.

I am sure right now, we are all still remembering to wash our hands, whether you are still singing Happy Birthday or not, who knows, but I have found that I have gone through a whole lot of hand gel, more than I normally would do, since lockdown. Having switched to the House Of Cats Aloe Vera Gel, not only is it much kinder to my skin, it has these wonderful little Aloe Vera spheres which are suspended within the gel.
House of Cats Hand and Body Collection
House of Cats Hand and Body Collection
Despite containing a 60% Alcohol, this gel isn't at all drying on the hands, if anything, it is one of the most moisturising gels that I have used in quite some time.  Mine lives in the bathroom on the side of the sink and thankfully, because this is pump action, it is really easy to use, with one pump being more than enough for each use.  It does have a wonderfully fresh scent of Aloe Vera and I can imagine it would be really soothing on any burns!  It is priced at £9 for 500ml.

I am hopeless at looking after my cuticles, I can just about remember to file my nails, usually if one has broken or I've managed to snag it somewhere. So, I was delighted to see two Nail and Cuticle oils withing my package, because I have made an effort to use them.
House of Cats Hand and Body Collection
House of Cats Hand and Body CollectionThe first of the two oils is Ginger, Verbena and Lime and I absolutely love the scent of this, very much gets your attention with the scent of both Ginger and Lime. The second Cuticle Oil is Melon, Guava and Mango and also smells divine.

These two oils have been specially designed to preserve the skin’s softness as well as the natural elasticity of the nails. The use of added Vitamin E, Argan Oils and other specially selected ingredients come together to nourish and regenerate the skin, cuticles and the nail plate.  Neither of these oils is overly greasy, usually the reason I tend not to use a cuticle oil, is it takes days to absorb and it ends up everywhere, with these, the use of the brush makes the application a breeze because they don't become overloaded with product and one swipe is enough for each nail.  I am already a huge fan of these two and they cost just £9 each!

The Ultra Rich Foot Cream has been a delight to use also. During the Summer months, my feet and I live in Fitflops, they are by far the comfiest shoe I have ever worn, but my feet do always end up feeling dehydrated and in need of some TLC.
House of Cats Hand and Body Collection
This foot cream is so rich and luxurious that it is a dream to use. After showering, I use this as an excuse to have a lie down, smother my feet in the cream and wait for it to absorb.  It has been specially formulated to hydrate not only the skin of the feet but also the lower legs too, so when I apply it, I apply it pretty much to just above the ankle and wait for it to work its magic.

It has a great list of ingredients which includes Glycerin and Urea, both of which work to deeply moisturise the skin and preserve its water balance. Then we have added Bisabolol which has soothing properties before the rich Rosemary extract, which has regenerating and toning effects works its magic.  It is priced at £19.

The final item in my package is the Ultra Rich Hand & Body Cream in Melon, Guava and Mango.  I am never the best at using body creams, I always forget about them, unless they have really caught my attention - this pot is almost empty.
House of Cats Hand and Body Collection
Again, this cream has been specially formulated to provide hydration for your skin and to do that, it comes with an impressive list of ingredients. Starting with Glycerine and Urea to help maintain the skin’s moisture levels high. Then we have Jojoba Oils and Shea Butter which help to moisturise and keep your skin soft as well as  to provide protection from the harmful environmental influences and finally Bisabolol for its soothing and recovery properties.

As with the foot cream, this handy and body cream is incredibly luxurious and it just melts into the skin on application and of course it smells good enough to eat.  A great little after shower/bath treat.  This cream is priced at £19.

You can find all of these products on The House Of Cats website for sale and of course, their selection of treatments sound just divine too.

Burt's Bees Hand Cream with Shea Butter

At this time of the year, using a hand cream is almost like second nature for me, I always have one or two (maybe 3 or 4) tubes on the go, one in each handbag, on my desk, on the bedside table and usually one in the bathroom as well.  One of my favourite brands, Burt's Bees has just released some pretty amazing hand creams, which if you read this post last week, you might notice some similarities.

New to the range are these Moisturising hand creams with Shea Butter and there is three different ones to choose from - Lavender & Honey, Rosemary & Lemon and Orange Blossom & Pistachio and each one is the perfect size for travelling with.
Burt's Bees Hand Cream with Shea Butter
I have been using two of the lip butters in Lavender & Honey as well as the Orange Blossom & Pistachio and the two accompanying hand creams are just as divine to use.

All three of these hand creams are formulated with 99% naturally moisturising ingredients such as Shea Butter, Baobab Oil and Pumpkin Seed Oil for softer, smoother hands.
Burt's Bees Hand Cream with Shea Butter
Burt's Bees Hand Cream with Shea Butter
Burt's Bees Hand Cream with Shea Butter
Each hand cream really does have an amazing texture when applied to the skin, lightweight and non-greasy, they absorb quickly without leaving any trace behind other than the most wonderful fragrance.   The skin on my hands tends to become quite dry on my palms rather than anywhere else, so this is the place I ensure I rub in a little extra cream and regularly exfoliate to ensure the issue doesn't get worse.

The Orange Blossom and Pistachio hand cream is one I absolutely love the fragrance of and it is one I hope the lovely people at Burt's Bees extend the range of, it is zesty and fresh scented and as the Orange Blossom comes to life, the Pistachio is also present, but it isn't overbearing.  The Lavender and Honey cream again smells exactly as you might expect it will, the Lavender is really fresh and there is a slight sweetness to it too.  The final hand cream is the Rosemary and Lemon scent and I love the earthy notes of this mixed in with sharpness of the Lemon makes quite the fragrance.

If you are in need of new hand cream, then Burt's Bees ticks a lot of boxes.  My hands absolutely love this and as the formula is dermatologist tested and hypoallergenic, it is definitely worth looking out for.  You can find all the new products from Burt's Bees on Lookfantastic and they have some amazing gift sets too.

Crabtree & Evelyn Pinkie Power - Hand Cream Trio

Every year I go through tubes of hand cream, without a doubt there is always a tube or three in my handbag, the same on my desk and bedside table.  To that end, Crabtree & Evelyn have got the perfect gift for those, who like me, love their hand creams - Pinkie Power, a Trio of Hand Creams.

I absolutely love the packaging of these hand creams, more so when the outer sleeve is removed to unveil this black and white striped box. Inside Crabtree & Evelyn have selected three of their most favoured hand creams in 25ml tubes and have brought them together in one package.

The first hand cream is one I am a huge fan of and that is the Evelyn Rose Hand Therapy. This cream is exactly as the description reads because it is richly moisturising and because it has two distinct rose extracts added to the formula, it smells just absolutely wonderful. Shea Butter and Macadamia Seed Oil are also added and this is a perfect hand cream for anyone who has dry hands because it is incredibly hydrating and soothing.

The one hand cream from this trio I had never tried until now is the Lavender & Espresso Hand Therapy. Designed to be a hand cream which calms and restores, it also uses both Shea Butter and Macadamia Seed Oil to ensure your hands are hydrated and moisturised, but the floral notes of Lavender which blend so well with coffee scent of Espresso are really what makes this an amazing cream for me because it smells just so amazing.

The final hand cream within this trio is the Gardeners Hand Therapy. This hand cream is fragranced with green clover, lavender, sage, rosemary and thyme which gives the very image of an incredible garden, it also hosts the ingredients of Shea Butter and Macadamia Seed Oil as with the other two hand creams within this collection. I have gone through tubes of this hand cream because it is just so good at its job of soothing and hydrating hands and despite its name, it isn't just for gardeners, but if you know someone who is a keen gardener, then there is an entire set or this range which would make a great gift!

This trio is such an incredible value for money set at £14 and one which is the perfect gift for anyone who loves their hand creams and it also makes for a great introduction to Crabtree & Evelyn too.

Woods of Windsor Blackberry & Thyme Gardeners Range

Woods of Windsors is a premium English lifestyle and gift brand and they recently launched their Blackberry & Thyme Gardeners Range which smells just incredible.
Woods of Windsor Blackberry & Thyme Gardeners Range
A gardener’s work is never done, with year-round maintenance and constant exposure to the elements, all too often our hands are neglected in the pursuit of creating the perfect garden. Woods of Windsor’s new Gardeners Range is formulated with extra conditioning and moisturising ingredients, to nourish those green fingers and restore smooth skin to hardworking hands.

Whilst I don't have a garden, I do have pots outside on my terrace and spent a lot of time, planting, potting, pruning and picking fruits, vegetables and flowers and my hands do get really dry and scaly if I don't take of them.

The Gardeners range has everything you need to ensure this does not happen.  Taking the theme of an English Country Garden to heart, these products combine green tea and ripe blackberry with the heart of rosemary, thyme mimosa and white jasmine which are enhanced with musk and amber. Within the collection there are four products - Moisturising Hand Wash (£6.99/350ml), Exfoliating Hand Scrub (£4.99/100ml), Nourishing Hand Cream (£5.99/100ml) and Intensive Hand Balm (£7.99/100ml) and they are all paraben free. I have been using three of the products and I even have a favourite.

The Moisturising handwash which is packaged inside a pump action bottle is really lovely. The first thing you notice is the Blackberry scent which is incredibly fresh and then that the handwash has a purple tint to it which foams and lathers when it comes into contact with water, this works to intensify that Blackberry scent but at the same time it awakens the Thyme scent too.

This hand wash uses antibacterial and healing thyme oil and blackberry extract which is rich in anti-oxidants and essential fatty acids that help protect and moisturise.

Then we have the exfoliating hand scrub. It wasn't until we had an allotment that I realised such products existed and when you have spent all day digging and weeding, it is at that point you need to exfoliate your hands to rid them of horrid calluses that have formed.

This scrub uses pumice to cleanse and remove ingrained dirt and when you massage into the skin you can feel the pumice working on the skin. There is also the inclusion of antibacterial and healing thyme oil and blackberry extract which is rich in anti-oxidants and essential fatty acids that help protect and moisturise.

Finally, we have the hand cream and like the other two products I have mentioned so far, it also uses antibacterial and healing thyme oil and blackberry extract, rich in anti-oxidants and essential fatty acids that help protect and moisturise but this time there is also the inclusion of Shea Butter.

On the skin, this hand cream, which doesn't have a thick texture, just melts into the skin and it leaves behind a beautiful Blackberry earthy scent which is just divine.

These three products are just divine and for me, the stand out product is the exfoliating hand scrub, it is so gentle but so effective at what it does, that it is hard not to love it.  The entire range is simply delightful and it has a scent that everyone could and should adore.

This was my first time using products from Woods of Windsor and having had the chance to look at the site, there is an incredible range of products to discover.
