Mavala’s Ultimate Christmas Gift Guide

Mavala is the world leader in nail care with a heritage spanning over 50 years and for me, if you ask me what Mavala does, the first thing I say is Nail Care, but did you know they do a whole lot more than that? As well as nails, they have products for the hand, feet, face and makeup and they are all created from rigorous research and manufactured in the Geneva factories to impeccable quality demands.

For Christmas, Mavala have some really cute and purse friendly gift sets featuring Tree Baubles, Duo Products, Hand care products and more.  Today I have a selection from the Christmas collection.

The first product is the Mavala Nail Colour Duo. Featuring a duo of 5ml nail polishes which compliment each other for the festive season. My box contains Riga which is a beautiful natural pink shade and to top it off comes Pink Diamond which is full of glitter and incredibly sparkly. 

They come packaged inside a box with an accompanying red bow to give it that special touch. Priced at £9.95.

Next comes something we all need at some point and that is the Mavala Mava+ Extreme Care for Hands. The sun, cold, wind, use of solvents and cleaning detergents can all have damaging effects on the hands which can result in hands becoming very dry and stressed.

With all of that in mind, Mavala designed a cream for very dry and stressed hands, this cream is an intense repairing and moisturising treatment containing Chamomile and Vitamin E to reduce redness and soothe, Shea Butter to nourish, smooth and repair, and a botanical complex which acts as a protective shield to reinforce the skin's barrier defences.  Again, an addition of a red bow makes a lovely stocking filler gift and the cream is priced at £15.70.

The final gift in my Gift Guide from Mavala is the Mavala Nourishing kit and this is one clever kit which has everything you need to look after those nails.  Inside there are three products which work together to ensure your nails are protected and nourished.

Christmas Gift Sets with Caudalie

My love of Caudalie started when I was introduced to the Divine Oil, a multi-purpose oil which I still use even now.  This Christmas Caudalie have a whole host of gifts for every budget and today I am going to be sharing some of them with you.  

Beauty Elixir Bauble (£12 here) - This has been one of my favourite finds of 2017 and featured it here on my blog. Inspired by Queen Isabelle of Hungary’s elixir of youth, this powerful plant based facial mist smoothes away fine lines, tightens pores and gives the complexion an instant boost of radiance.

Described as being a Caudalie cult product which is favoured by make-up artists, beauty junkies and celebrities, this Elixir has a whole host of uses which include:

I love this special edition bottle with the gold detailing and think it is quite fitting to celebrate the 20th anniversary. Once spritzed this Elixir fills the air with notes of benzoin, myrrh, orange, blossom, grape and rose, all of which work to give your complexion a rosy glow. Add to that astringent rosemary and the stimulating essence of lemon balm and mint and the scent is really quite incredible and it is of course really gentle on the skin.

Trio French Kiss (£20 here) - Beautifully packaged inside this triangle box are the brand new French Kiss Lip Balms, I did a full review of them here, but inside the box you will find:

• French Kiss Séduction - Delicious pink (7.5g)

The three lip balms melt onto your lips to hydrate and protect whilst leaving a subtle hint of colour.

Innocence, which is best described as being pretty clear in shade when applied but it smells divine as it is lightly infused with the scent of vanilla and orange peel, next comes Seduction which has a pale pink tint and also the scent of Vanilla with Addiction being on the right, it has a lovely berry tint to it and a red berry scent too

Makeup Artist Secrets (£32 here) - This is an incredible gift set which is perfect if you cannot decide which product you really want to try the most from those mentioned within this post because it contains both of them.

Inside you will find the collector’s edition Beauty Elixir bottle which I have mentioned above and French Kiss addiction Lip Balm. TheBeauty Elixir is 100ml and as above is packaged inside the limited edition packaging which really makes it stand out and for me, the gold etchings make it perfect for Christmas. Alongside the Beauty Elixir is Addiction, the French Kiss Lip Balm, which again is mentioned above.
