Soak Sunday - Relax and Indulge

I’m very much into my health and well-being products right now, particularly products which are mood influencing or scene setting - think candles, oils and diffusers to name a few things. Just before Christmas, a brand called Soak Sunday caught my eye with their Instagram feed and I ordered one of their sets.
Soak Sunday - Relax and Indulge
Soak Sunday are describe themselves as the brand which is inspired by lazy weekend and the power of natural bath botanicals and is bringing back bath time.

Time to sink in, time to switch off and savour… More than just a simple soak, we’re bringing back bath time as a moment to indulgently relax, unwind and unite body and mind, losing yourself in the art of slow beauty. Made in the UK, the plastic free, glass and aluminium bottles evoke and awaken, telling stories through thoughtful design and indulgent experiences. Savour the unboxing, indulge in the aesthetic, sink into the sensorial.
Soak Sunday - Relax and Indulge
I love the idea of building my bath time, something Soak Sunday is very well known for. So I couldn’t wait to build mine. Before you start, there is an option to shop for your products by type or based on your mood - I opted for the latter. With three moods to choose from:
  • Relax and Indulge - Indulge your soul and transport your mind to a garden of Rose Utopia
  • Detox and Restore - Balanced by a smoky solstice and awakened to a Midnight Storm
  • Calm and Soothe - Let Cleo’s Paradise evoke the experience of Egyptian reincarnation.
Once you choose your mood, you can then work through the options to build your bath time. I opted for Relax and Indulge with Rose Utopia (£26) and in my bundle I opted for the Rose Utopia Botanical Bath Soak and the Rose Utopia Botanical Bath & Body Oil.  As you can see, it comes beautifully packaged in a black presentation tin, making it just the most amazing gift to give or a treat for yourself.

The Rose Utopia Botanical Bath Soak is incredible. Using a blend of ingredients such as:
  • Lavender - A relaxing, calming and soothing addition, known for its abilities to bring about rest and sleep.
  • Red Rose Petals - A very sweet, soothing and wonderfully indulgent addition for mind and soul.
  • Pink Himalayan Salt - Enriched with magnesium and potassium, detoxify, refine and soothe skin and soul.
  • Sage - described as being a sage smudging for your body and mind, it is balancing, soothing and cleansing.
  • Jasmine - Not only is Jasmine my favourite note of any perfume, it is also an indulgently skin soothing, mind de-stressing & mood levelling ingredient too.
Once the bath water is a few inches deep in the bath, I grabbed a large handful of these salts and scattered them across the water. Almost immediately the wonderful fragrance came to life and it’s a scent that I’d lovingly bottle to breathe in when I need a moment of calm, it is that good!
Soak Sunday - Relax and Indulge
Once out of the bath, the bath soaks partner in crime, the Rose Utopia Botanical Bath & Body Oil is an absolute delight. You can add this product to your bath if you so wish, it’s wonderful as an addition to the soak or on its own, or my favourite use is to apply it to my body after relaxing in that bath.

As with the soak, this Bath & Body Oil shares a lot of the same ingredients, but the oil has one addition, Jojoba Oil and it is described as being indulgently calming, vitamin rich and glow inducing which works to soothe, nourish and de-stress.
Soak Sunday - Relax and Indulge
On the skin, as an oil, I was expecting a greasy slippery nightmare, absolutely don’t get that at all. As soon as it comes into contact with your skin, it absorbs quickly and leaves behind the softest, silkiest skin and in doing so, it imparts a much stronger scent of those amazing ingredients I’ve mentioned. I definitely can detect the Jasmine and the Rose whilst lingering in the background is Lavender.

For me, I’ve loved using both of these products and having just enjoyed the very last drop of them both, I now want to try the other ranges and am even tempted by the candle and the body scrub in the very same scent!  Find out more about Soak Sunday and the ranges they have to offer on their very own website.

Amoorra - The Original Bath Bomb for the Shower

I absolutely love a good bath bomb, there is nothing quite like a bath full of brightly coloured water which smells as insane as it looks, but not everyone has a bath, so there must be something to use in the shower? Well Amoorra, a brand I spotted in my local Holland and Barrett grabbed my attention.
Amoorra - The Original Bath Bomb for the Shower
Amoorra - The Original Bath Bomb for the Shower
Describing themselves as “The Original Bath Bomb For The Shower” Amoorra Shower Bombs are 100% natural, and claim to transform your shower into a spa-like experience... harnessing the powerful therapeutic benefits of aromatherapy. Well that was a good enough description for me to make a purchase and I bought three - Breathe, Calm and Peace and the other three options are Sleep, Refresh and Awaken. So what does each one do?

Amoorra Shower Bomb Breathe is said to be ideal for those days when you have a blocked, stuffy nose and are feeling just meh. The tablet becomes activated by steam which is released from your shower when the hot water runs. The Shower Bomb Breathe releases a eucalyptus, rosemary and peppermint infused aroma which helps to clear a stuffy nose and help to breathe easy.

This has so far been my favourite of the three shower bombs that I have tried, the scent is almost instantaneous as it comes into contact with the water vapour and it certainly does help to clear those sinuses - detail of which I won’t go into. The use of peppermint, which is the fairly potent works really well with the Rosemary and Eucalyptus.

Then we have the Amoorra shower bomb in Calm. This is a tablet that has been infused with chamomile, clove and cardamom all of which are know for their properties which promote calming and warming, which in turn creates an aroma to help enrich the mind.

With this one, the hint of Cardamom is most definitely present and it is slightly held back by the clove which is also fairly dominant a scent. However, as the vapour and table come into content and it settles, the chamomile eventually comes through and it is a really lovely scent.

Finally we have Peace and this shower bomb uses Rose & Jasmine which together I absolutely adore. Said to have been perfectly blended to help boost your self-esteem, self confidence as well as helping to lower anxiety. We then have Musk which helps to stimulate circulation and sharpens the senses for mood boosting properties.

Rose is the dominant scent within this shower bomb and again once the steam from the shower is flowing, there is a hint of Jasmine but I don’t smell musk. I can’t help but I do like the scent of this as I adore both Rose and Jasmine together.

Using these shower bombs is really easy and thankfully Amoorra offer up some advice on how to get the nest experience from their product.
  • Firstly you need to run your shower to your usual desired temperature. The hotter your shower is and more closed-in, the more steam will be produced and the more you will get from your experience
  • Make sure you take the time to enjoy the Shower Bomb and the scent it has to offer, breathing in the aroma. For me, I always use it before washing, just so the aroma isn’t mixed with my body scrub or shampoo.
So when it comes to actually using the Shower Bomb take the tablet out of the tin, which Breathe comes packaged in, the other two are in small sealed plastic bags, then place on the shower floor, but it needs to be out of the direct flow of the shower – off to the side or corner is best, then as the hot water comes into contact with it, the scent mixes with the vapour/steam and fills your bathroom.
Amoorra - The Original Bath Bomb for the Shower
These Amoorra Shower Bombs are priced at just £2.99 each and depending on how long you stand in the shower for, you get more than one use out of each product.  I have used them all daily for the past few weeks and each one has been used 3 times and they still have at least another use out of them - absolute value for money.

Lush Almond Blossom Shower Gel

It is a well known and much documented fact that as far as I am concerned, Marzipan is the food of the devil.  I literally cannot stand it but, I love the scent of almonds, especially in skincare.  A friend of mine who thought she was mildly amusing, kindly purchased the Lush Almond Blossom Shower Gel as a thank you gift alongside a marzipan encrusted cake (which went in the bin) and in all honestly, it is one of the best scented shower gels I have smelt from Lush in years - I am still not over the fact they no longer do my favourite The Comforter as a shower gel!
Lush Almond Blossom Shower Gel
Described as being like the delicate blossoms of spring which have been reimagined as a softening shower gel enriched with almond milk and the scent of sweet marzipan. As you can see from the bottle, it has an almost almond colour to the shower gel and if you are a regular user of Lush Shower Gels then its texture is exactly the same as those.

As usual for Lush, the shower gels come packed with a whole host of benefits with regards to the ingredients it includes and for the Almond Blossom Shower Gel we have the following:
  • Almond milk is both softening and moisturising on your skin, helping to protect it from the elements.
  • Fair Trade almond oil which softens and moisturises your skin,
  • Rosewater calms and balances your skin, helping to alleviate redness and irritation.

To give this shower gel even more of a kick, the use of sandalwood and sweet benzoin add a little warmth and it does smell just absolutely incredible, so much so I think this is my 3rd or 4th bottle.

As usual with Lush shower gels, this one is a sulphate-free and palm-free formula and it still creates a gentle lather with a scent that lingers on the skin for a good few hours after using and of course it is suitable for all skins.

Ambiance London Bath Salts

This time of year when the weather is pretty grim and dark, the best place to be is in the bath, even more so when you have a brand new bathroom that you absolutely love being in!  I have said it quite a few times, but bath salts are completely underrated and they are one of my favourite things to have in my bath and if you read this post, you will see I was sent some lovely Luxury Bath Salts and a beautiful candle from Ambiance London.
Ambiance London Bath Salts Review with photos
For me, having a bath is all about relaxing, shutting out the world and focusing on myself, even if it is just for an hour or two a week. I've long since learnt that being in water or near too it is one of the ways I relax best.  I do love oils, milks and bubbles but salts are my go too for muscle aches, period pains, headaches or stress.
The ideal detox bath recipe for relaxation and self care this Autumn Winter… A sublime blend of magnesium rich Epsom salts, Mediterranean sea salt and organic essential oils, Ancienne Ambiance luxury bath salts can be used in the bath, for a softening foot soak and even as a body scrub. The ancient Greeks and Egyptians in particular loved the exfoliating properties of sea salt.
Ancienne Ambiance Bath Salts have so many wellbeing and beauty benefits from helping refine skin texture to soothing sore muscles, but they are particularly good for gently purifying and detoxifying the body – a wellness and immune system boost that helps treat bloating and reduce inches for a temporary ‘slim-down’.
I was kindly sent two different bath salts from Ambiance London - Arangia Orange scented salts and Jasminium Jasmine scented salts. and they come in two different sizes of a sample size which costs just £5 and a 300ml bottle which is £34 here.

The Arangia Orange luxury salts are described as being ' a deliciously fresh orange zest fragrance, these salts are a great mood lifter' and as soon as you remove the lid, you get an instant hit of orange and ingredients within these salts include a blend of Epsom salt, Mediterranean sea salt and essential oils.  The Jasminium Jasmine luxury salts have a wonderfully sweet Jasmine fragrance with a hint of lemon and their role is to help uplift from low moments and also relax spasms and cramps.   As with Arangia Orange, these salts also include a blend of Epsom Salt, Mediterranean Sea Salt and essential oils.  Epsom salts are used because not only do they help you and your muscles to relax, it is said that Epsom salt bathwater can soften rough, dry skin, and exfoliate dead skin cells. Mediterranean Sea Salt is rich in minerals including the likes of potassium, iodine and magnesium, all of which help alleviate and soothe any skin conditions, while at the same time helping to calm and ease a restless mind or any tension in the body.

Why Use Bath Salts?

As well as using these salts in the bath, they also have other properties which include:
  • Exfoliating: As we all know, a routine body scrub will produce visibly softer, brighter skin and help good blood circulation. To use your bath salts in this way, you can apply them directly to damp skin or you can also mix them with olive oil or even your body wash too.
  • A Foot Soak: If you suffer from rough or hard skin on your feet, a foot soak with these salts will help to break down and soften that hard skin. The advice is to soak your feet once a week in warm water for around 10-15 minutes and then apply dry salts directly to your skin to exfoliate, rinse off and remove any excess skin with a foot file or pumice.
  • An Immune System Boost: As the naturally occurring minerals in these salts are gently detoxing, they will help to ease muscle aches, calm the body and help you get a good night’s rest. Definitely worthy of putting in your bath for that alone!
If you have never tried bath salts or have always assumed they are just something your Gran would use, then hopefully you can see they are not.  Ambiance London very much take bath salts to the next level, creating a luxurious product which not only smell just incredible but are as relaxing to the mind and body as they are kind to your skin!

Jo Malone London Red Roses Bath Oil

When it comes to luxury and the wow factor, is there anything more delightful than a Jo Malone London package?  With Valentines Day having arrived, now is the time to grab those presents for your loved ones and if spending some quality time in the tub is something your other half loves, then this package has everything you need to impress, wow, pamper and relax.
The essence of modern romance. A voluptuous blend of seven of the world's most exquisite roses. With crushed violet leaves and a hint of lemon, it unfolds like a bouquet of freshly cut flowers. Surprisingly clean and sheer. For a sumptuous bathing treat, our Bath Oil is enriched with sweet almond, jojoba seed and avocado oils, which are natural conditioners that help soften and nourish the skin, while sublime fragrances fill the air and scent your skin.
I am still quite new to the wonder that is Jo Malone and first ever fragrance from the brand was Red Rose and Oud (review here)  and it is one I absolutely adore. I have for some time, dreamt of owning a bath oil and it was very much worth that wait.
Jo Malone London Gift Box
Jo Malone London Red Roses Bath Oil 30ml Bottle
I absolutely love the scent of roses, there is something quite extraordinary about the fragrance and within this bath oil, the blend of seven of the world's most exquisite roses.

With top notes of Lemon which really gives a sharp burst of citrusy freshness as the bottle is opening, the heart notes of Red Roses Accord is where for me, this bath oil becomes that little something special and if you love the scent of fresh roses then this is something you would just love because it is that very same scent that you associate with a fresh bunch of roses as they come into bloom.  The base note of honeycomb adds a slight sweetness to the scent, but not so much that it dissipates the scent of roses.
Jo Malone London Red Roses Bath Oil Bottle
To use this bath oil you only need one capful within your bath, once the water is running and as soon as the oil comes into contact with the water and steam vapour it comes to life and quickly seeps into every single room of the house to give a lovely scent.  There is no greasy film floating on top of the water and when you finish bathing, my skin felt absolutely incredibly soft and that fragrant scent of roses was most definitely evident, even a good few hours after bathing.

Red Roses bath oil comes in three sizes - 250ml, 200ml and 30ml and the price of each changes depending on the size of the bottle you purchase. I have the 30ml bottle which is priced at £18 (here) and what I love about this size is that it is big enough to enjoy quite a few baths from and it is small enough to be taken away with you on holiday and long weekends away so you can really spoil yourself.

Virginia Coram Luxury Natural Soap

Virginia Coram is a brand I have never come across until recently and they are specialists in traditionally made pure liquid soap. Made in England, the natural bar soaps and collections of liquid soaps, lotions and bath oils are designed with scents created from uniquely exceptional blends of pure essential oils for a luxury bathing experience.
Virginia Coram Luxury Natural Soap
Everything from the brand sounds just utterly divine and if like me, you love that little bit of something special for pampering, then this is ticking those boxes.
At Virginia Coram, all our bath oil, liquid and bar soap recipes and essential oil formulations are proprietary and formulated in-house. Virginia Coram are one of the few English producers of pure liquid soap using the traditional method. We have developed a method to ensure that the soap we produce is of high clarity and consistency. We use Coconut, Olive and Sunflower oils in our liquid soap and saponify them using a potassium lye in to truly skin friendly hand and body washes.

I was very kindly sent two products from the Virginia Coram range: the Virginia Coram Bathtub Lotion in Rose Geranium & Sage fragrance and the Virginia Coram Governess Soap in Orange, Lavender & Vanilla fragrance.  Interestingly, both of these products can be used for the hands, within the bath or in the shower depending on your preference.

The first product I couldn't wait to try was the Rose, Geranium & Sage Bathtub Lotion which is described as being a delicious floral and herbal scent combination of Rose Geranium and Sage. It is anchored by the uplifting scent of Rosewood and accentuated by the refreshing, invigorating scent of Litsea Cubeba.   It comes packaged in a 250ml bottle with an accompanying pump dispenser and one pump dispenses enough product for both hands, but it can also be used on the body too.
Virginia Coram Luxury Natural Soap - Bathtub Lotion
The lotion itself smells just absolutely incredible. On the skin, it is like velvet and as you massage it in, the scent really comes to life.  It is fresh and you can detect each of the three scents complimenting one another.

The second product is the Governess's Soap in Orange, Lavender & Vanilla and it is a natural soap for the hands, bath and shower. Described as being a sweet and delicate combination of Orange, Lavender, Vanilla and Marjoram. Perfect for use on delicate skin with a rich, skin softening lather of Olive, Coconut and Sunflower oils.
Virginia Coram Luxury Natural Soap - Governess's Soap
This fragrance is warm and fresh and I have been using it within the shower and as the steam and oils come together, the fragrances come to life and it is literally a luxury to use. Again, it comes packaged in a 250ml bottle with an accompanying pump dispenser and one pump dispenses enough product to wash with.

Virginia Coram really is such a wonderful brand and I especially love that you can choose your fragrance based on your own personal preferences, so if something more floral, Herbal or even Spicy then there is a great choice to choose from and prices start at just £18.

Find Me A Gift Christmas Guide feat. Bomb Cosmetics

Last year I featured Find Me A Gift (my review here) as a place to source unique gifts for loved ones, secret Santas at work or even for the cat and dog.  Describing themselves as being a site which has an extensive range of unique gifts make finding the perfect gift a piece of cake! From the fun and novelty to the cool and quirky, we've got all sorts of awesome gifts that are sure to light up someone's face.
Find Me A Gift Christmas Guide feat. Bomb Cosmetics
As soon as I mentioned the Bogey Man Egg Separator, my feed went slightly insane with a mixture of laughter, hysterics and some accepting it is a little bit genius, so here he is again and he is still £6.99.
Find Me A Gift Christmas Guide feat. Bomb Cosmetics
Find Me A Gift Christmas Guide feat. Bomb Cosmetics
Whenever I look on Find Me a Gift, I naturally gravitate towards the beauty section because ultimately that is where my interests lie (along with looking at what to buy the cats) and this Bomb Cosmetics Mistletoe Kisses Gift Set jumped out at me because I love the brand but find getting hold of anything locally quite the challenge.
Make bath time even more relaxing than usual with this fabulously cute and extra special Mistletoe Kisses Gift Set from Bomb Cosmetics - even the name sounds delicious! This festive treat is full of goodies to make a peaceful soak in the tub your number one priority when it's nice and frosty outside.

What I love about Bomb Cosmetics is that whilst everything is handmade and not factory produced, a lot of effort goes into making the product look aesthetically pleasing as well as smelling amazing. Scents such as vanilla, cinnamon and orange within the Mistletoe Kisses gift set are very much those I associate with Christmas, be it looking around a Christmas Market whilst drinking mulled wine or walking down Oxford Street as the food stalls roast nuts.

Find Me A Gift Christmas Guide feat. Bomb Cosmetics
Inside this lovingly packaged box, you will find 6 handmade bath bombs and soaps and each one of them is Christmas themed.

1 x Christmas Wonderland Soap - This soap screams Christmas. Not only is it bright red in colour it uses the essential oils of Cinnamon Bark and Myrrh and as soon as you open the box, the first scent that hits you are both of these.  Once used in water, it lathers and the scent intensifies and is just divine.

1 x Snowtime Like the Present Soap - Again, Christmas in soap this one has the Gold of Pleasure Oil which is high in Omega 3 and is perfect for helping to protect the skin. Also included is Frankincense Oil, which I love the scent of and it is perfect for aiding relaxation and on the skin it helps heal.

1 x Ho Ho Holly Bath Blaster - I love how festive this bath blaster looks and it is the one which fizzed the fastest in water! It contains Black Pepper Oil which is a warming oil and it helps to boost your body’s natural defences and is perfect for aching muscles. Plus there is Cinnamon Bark Oil which has properties to help relieve stress and is incredibly calming.
1 x Santa's Baby Bath Blaster - With the image of Santa's face looking back at you as you chuck it in the bath to fizz away, the essential oils of Frankincense and Myrrh comes to live and create a wonderful aroma which works it way through the house. Frankincense is great for relaxation and Myrrh is helpful to those with dry and chapped skin, as well as having beneficial properties for other skin ailments.
1 x Chilly Willy Bath Blaster - As soon as you drop Chilly Willy into a warm bath and watch him fizz away, the essential oils come to life.  Alongside Cocoa butter, you will find the pure essential oils including Sweet Almond, Sandalwood, Orange and Cinnamon.

1 x We Three Kings Creamer - This is the most luxurious product within the box and I absolutely loved using it. Packed full of incredible ingredients such as Cocoa and Shea Butters to help moisturise the skin, Geranium Oil which helps to create a balance between oily and dry skin and it also helps to relieve feelings of stress and anxiety and Ylang-Ylang which has a whole host of beneficial properties on the senses, scalp and skin.

I adore this set and love that it is so Christmassy. It isn't overly expensive and is currently on offer for just £8.99 right here.

Bath time with Tropic Skincare

Sunday is one of my favourite days. I try to do as little as humanly possible and sometimes that involves not leaving my bed until I absolutely have to.  Sunday also means bath time, that hour and a bit of the week that I get to myself with no one sending me emails, texting me, ringing me, nagging me or simply asking questions. It is time for me to switch off, grab my book, a glass of wine and forget about everyone else.
Bath time with Tropic Skincare
Tropic Skincare is no stranger to this blog, they have been feature many times (here, here and here) and a brand that has such an inspirational story to tell (here). After appearing on BBC’s The Apprentice in 2011, Susie is given the opportunity to present her passion and vision for natural and cruelty-free skincare to Lord Alan Sugar. Impressed by the products, he spots a unique business opportunity and invests to become a 50/50 partner.  To date, the Tropic Skincare line has grown from just a few products to a huge catalogue of products which span the skincare, body care and Suncare to Makeup.  Today is the turn of bath products and if you like your bath to be something special, then read on.

I have mentioned previously that we are about to have a bathroom overhaul, everything ripped out and a brand spanking new everything, in the meantime, I am still enjoying my weekly bath time. These new and limited edition bath soaks are the perfect for that indulgent Sunday pamper session and depending on your mood and whether you feel hat you need a little uplifting then ‘Awaken Your Senses’ is the best option or if you are in need of a calming bath then ‘Soothe Your Senses’ is the second option, either way, Tropic skincare has something to suit your mood and both are just incredibly indulgent, nourishing and they smell divine.

Awaken The Senses Bath Soak is housed inside a glass bottle it uses aromatherapeutic essential oils to uplift your senses.  Yellow in colour, as soon as the oil comes into contact with the water, that oil turns to a milky liquid.  This soak is described as being the perfect option if you need a little uplifting or are feeling a little low. Using just three capfuls into hot running water, as soon as the essential oils come into contact with the water and steam, the most divine of scents is released and quickly fills the room.
Bath time with Tropic Skincare
Bath time with Tropic Skincare
A scent which is more definitely uplifting and restorative uses oils such as Bergamot, Lime, Lemon, Sweet Orange and Mandarin to give the soak quite an energisizing scent  as well using  restorative neroli and basil essential oils banish fatigue and soothe muscles helping to banish fatigue and soothe muscles.

Then we have the second option which is called Soothe The Senses Bath Soak and it is perfect for those days when you need that calming, soothing bath to soak away the weeks stresses, it is described as being a skin-softening bath soak with aromatherapeutic essential oils to restore the mind.  As with Awaken The Senses, this soak also comes housed inside a glass bottle to give that more luxurious feel and again, as the essential oils come into contact with the hot running water and steam, the vapour carries the scent throughout the home.
Bath time with Tropic Skincare
Bath time with Tropic Skincare
This is my favourite of the two products simply because I love how calming it actually is. Using Exotic frangipani flower extract helps to transform your bath into what is described as being a pool of tranquillity and it is blended with both Vitamin E and Macadamia oils which help to condition and soften skin. Added to those comes Cedarwood essential oil which provides a warm sense of grounding and comfort and ensuring that you do manage to soak away those stresses.

If you like a bath filled with bubbles, then these are not the products you want to be trying because they instead turn from an oil to a milky substance which lovingly nourishes the skin and leaves it feeling silky smooth and hydrated. They are also priced at £38 for 260ml (here) each making them quite the luxury, but with that you get an incredible product and which is packed full of amazing essential oils and other ingredients which completely live up to their expectations and promises.

Soap & Glory Fizz-A-Ball

What could be better than a bath full of fizz and bubbles and the joy of Soap and Glory?
Soap & Glory Fizz-A-Ball
Both of them coming together to create an incredible bath bomb perhaps? Correct, that is exactly what has happened and if you stalk your local Boots or look on like there are three to choose from - I grabbed them all.
We’re bubbling over with excitement about our trio of effervescent bath bombs. FIZZ-A-BALL™ is a super-relaxing unbelievably fun treat that bubbles away on contact with water.

Now I love my bath time, my hour and a half escape from the world to immerse myself into a tub of hot water and forget about life. When I am stressed, feeling a bit blue or under the weather, I am at my happiest being in the water and as my Starsign (Cancerian) is associated with water, this is not too much of a surprise.

As I have said there are three Bath Bombs within the collection

ORIGINAL PINK™ - This is the signature scent of rose and bergamot and it is said to be used for pure pampering and it is pink and white in colour.  If you are a fan of Hand Food, Righteous Butter and products within that range, then you will love this.

SUGAR CRUSH™ - sweet lime zest and it is described as being 'a revitalising fling with the ultimate zing' and it is green and pink in colour.  If you like the Sugar Crush range from Soap and Glory then this is the one for you, I happen to think this is the best of all three Fizz-a-Ball bath bombs.

SMOOTHIE STAR™ - Described as being a 'good-enough-to-eat treat in sweet vanilla musk for relaxation' it is yellow and pink in colour and the sweetest scent of the three. Again if you are familiar with the Smoothie Star range which contains products such as Whipped Cream Shower Butter, Breakfast Body Scrub or even Rich and Foamous, then this will be the one for you.

As with all bath bombs, they work best if there are a few inches of warm to hot water in the bath before you chuck them in and you can savour each one by cutting them in half so you get more for your money.  Personally, I just chuck them into the water whole and as soon as they come into contact with one another the fizzing starts but for me, that was where the excitement ended.

The bath bomb I couldn't wait to try was Sugar Crush, it is my absolute favourite Soap & Glory scent and  I was expecting to have a bathroom that was scented with those same scents I have come to know and love, but I didn't. I didn't get a hint of anything at all and nor was there a bubble in sight, just glittery coloured orange water.

Size wise they are similar to Butterball from Lush, so they fit into the palm of your hand. Once into the water there is a slight foam which appears but it soon disappears and behind I was left with lovely orange water which as you can see is full of glitter.  Thankfully the glitter doesn't transfer onto the skin, it also doesn't cling to the bath, it just floats about in the water.  I am just sad I didn't get the scent I was hoping for.  I still have the other two within the range to try but each Fizz-A-Ball bath bomb is priced at £4 each they are currently on a 3 for 2 offer right HERE.

Have you tried these bath bombs from Soap & Glory?
