When these Badger Sunscreens dropped through my door a few weeks ago, I was delighted to be able to put them to good use during the mini heatwave. The joy of being off work and enjoying the sunshine, means I have had more time to put products to the test.
Now I am a fan of the Badger brand, they offer cute, quirky and purse friendly products and I have featured them on this blog many times. The three different sunscreens that I have are all SPF30 with the ethos being centred around the need to make enjoying the sun as safe as possible for all of the family and without being too laborious.
Badger SPF30 Broad Spectrum Unscented Sunscreen Cream
This is the one I have been using. I like that it is unscented and whilst it isn't as thick as other brands of sunscreen, it has a texture that is thick enough to let you know it is on your skin whilst being moisturising and hydrating at the same time. I never once felt that it made my skin feel caked in cream or that there was too much of it. This sunscreen is both water and sweat resistant for at least 40 minutes of swimming or activity, blocks both UVA and UVB rays and uses a certified organic sunscreen base of Sunflower Oil, Beeswax, Seabuckthorn and Vitamin E is ultra-moisturising and soothing.
Whilst I don't have children, I am more than happy to champion the cause of importance where sunscreen is concerned and have passed this one onto a friend who is using it right now on her holiday with her children. Again this sunscreen is both water and sweat resistant for at least 40 minutes of swimming or activity, blocks both UVA and UVB rays and is lightly fragranced with non-photosensitising essential oils of Tangerine & Vanilla in a gentle Sunflower Oil base as well as being hypoallergenic.
As with the above, this cream has been gifted to a friend who has a baby and whom is on holiday right now. Again this sunscreen is both water and sweat resistant for at least 40 minutes of swimming or activity. It is hypoallergenic as well as being Pediatrician tested and approved safe for babies and it has a certified organic base of Sunflower Oil, Beeswax and Vitamin E is ultra-moisturizing and soothing.
Each one of these products from Badger is not tested on animals, is biodegradable and safe for coral reefs and other ecosystems and they contain no oxybenzone, octinoxate, or other chemical active sunscreening agents.
Easily accessible online, these screens have an RRP £14.99 and each tube is 87ml.
