With the return of festivals finally on the horizon, I am sure like me, many of you will be absolutely horrified at the scenes of rubbish left behind after Glastonbury that have graced the national papers. One brand who wants to do the best they can to alleviate the mess left behind is Paper Bag Co who have created the ultimate ‘Leave No Trace’ Festival Bag.
This 'Leave No Trace' bag is for people who love attending festivals, travelling or camping, but who also want to keep their impact on the planet to a minimum, whilst the same time having a product which is waterproof, holds the essentials and is, above all fun.
As the name suggests this bag is made entirely from paper (except the zips) and the quality is something else.
It is strong, lightweight, durable, it is also waterproof, it holds a surprising amount of products without breaking and in this instance, it comes packaged ready for festivals, camping or a weekend away. This isn't the first time I've used a bag made from paper, but it is the first time I've used a rucksack made from paper.
What’s included:
- Printed T-shirt: Stay funky in our 100% GOTS organic cotton t-shirt printed with water based inks.
- Foldable Wheat Cup: Keep hydrated with the portable and biodegradable cup, it is perfect for sipping your favourite tipple from. Just rinse and reuse!
- Pocket for Valuables: A reusable bag isn’t complete without a safe place to store your phone and other valuables.
- Wash Bag: Filled with everything you could need to keep your hygiene tip top whilst you are away, the leave no trace wash bag contains everything from bamboo face wipes, body wash and beeswax ear plugs, to toothpaste tablets and a bamboo toothbrush.
- Cornstarch Poncho: As you can never guarantee the weather, these compostable ponchos made from cornstarch will keep you dry whilst also preventing the use of plastic alternatives.
- Biodegradable Glitter: Use our glitter made from plants to give your trip that extra sparkle.
- Loo roll: Well because… you can never have too much.
Putting them altogether and you have a Festival Bag which has thought of everything you need and then some.
I absolutely love the design of this backpack, it is also comfortable to wear and has straps which are expandable to make wearing it comfortable.
I personally think this is such a good idea and I would love to see more people thinking about the rubbish they leave behind when attending festivals and to instead take a leaf out of Paper Bag Co with this Festival Bag.
