Alongside my CurrentBody LED Mask, I have been using the CurrentBody Skin The Power of Four Skincare Set, which is CurrentBody's essentials serum kit.
I was lucky enough to be sent this skincare set with my LED Mask, but priced at just £49 you get four different vials which are said to contain a potent mix of botanicals and hydrators that plump, firm, lift and tone the skin plus hold in moisture all day. Those vials are
- CURRENTBODY skin Green Tea Serum 45ml
- CURRENTBODY skin Daily Restoring Serum 45ml
- CURRENTBODY skin Glow Serum 45ml
- CURRENTBODY skin Hyaluronic Acid Serum 45ml
Safe to use on all skin types, The Power of Four Skincare Set is described as being 'your complete beauty go-to; enhancing the anti-ageing benefits of all your devices, especially LED (light-emitting diode) therapy' making it perfect to use with the mask.
The CurrentBody Green Team Serum is packed with superfood ingredients, that protect, brighten, and hydrate your skin and on its own is priced at £39.99/30ml.
Of those ingredients you will find Organic green tea extract which is a powerful antioxidant which works to protect the skin from free radicals (like UV damage and pollution) and to stop signs of ageing in their tracks. You will also find the inclusion of pineapple extract, which is rich in vitamin C, to help exfoliate and brighten your complexion and they work alongside a blend of natural peptides that supports your skin's structure and helps fight dryness. There is also triple hyaluronic acid which is used to give the deepest hydration and dewiest skin glow. This is a really gentle, fragrance-free formula which is also cruelty-free and vegan-friendly and it can be used on its own or as part of your LED skincare regimen to supercharge your results.
The second Serum is the Daily Restoring Serum (£15/45ml) which is said to get to work in reducing the size of large pores and smoothing out your skin.
Using Niacinamide which helps to control oil production, this ingredient also helps to reduce hyper-pigmentation as well as to smooth out fine lines and wrinkles. There is also an energising hit of caffeine which leaves the skin appearing much plumper with signs of ageing softened. Perfect for that morning use if using on its own and of course with the LED mask.
Up next is the Skin Glow Serum (£15/45ml) and it is described as being a potent serum full of skin-brightening actives and anti-oxidants – including Vitamin C.
Perfect for skin which is described as being fatigued or looking tired, Vitamin C focuses specifically on increasing luminosity as well as helping to strengthen and to firm the skin. There is also the inclusion of caffeine which works to brighten dark circles and to reduce the severity of wrinkles.
Then finally we have the Hyaluronic Acid Serum (£15/45ml) and it is described as being the hydrating serum which promotes youthful skin.
As we all know, Hyaluronic Acid is a naturally occurring substance found in our bodies that helps to keep our skin hydrated and plump. As we get older we begin to produce less Hyaluronic Acid and this contributes to the skin losing its elasticity and the formation of fine lines and wrinkles. So, using a serum like this can help to retain moisture and firm the skin. Using Hyaluronic Acid to deeply hydrate the skin and it works alongside TensUp™, which is described as being an innovative complex to release powerful natural actives to instantly firm, smooth and lift your skin, while also providing long-lasting results.
Each one of these CurrentBody serums are vegan-friendly and suitable for all cruelty-free beauty routines. They are lightweight formulas which sink into the skin without being greasy or tacky to the touch and I love that I can combine them to use as I feel my skin needs. At just £49 for all four serums, it is quite the saving and as a set would make an amazing gift for anyone who loves their beauty routine.
