CAROLINE BARNES – BEAUTY EXPERT EDITION BY LATEST IN BEAUTY

I do love a good beauty box and the ones that seem to get a whole lot of attention on my social media feed right now come from Latest in Beauty. In the last few months this there has been so many limited edition collections, it’s really hard to not buy them all. However, I was kindly sent the Caroline Barnes collaboration and it’s quite the box!
CAROLINE BARNES – BEAUTY EXPERT EDITION BY LATEST IN BEAUTY
For a box to not only have the of approval of Caroline Barnes, but to also feature her name is quite something! For those not in the know, Caroline is an international makeup artist with over 20 years of experience in skin and makeup. This box features brands she works with and this collection is packed with ten products, including eight full-sized products from brands such as Illamasqua, Murad, KJH x Spectrum, Sculpted by Aimee and more.

With the box contents worth £241, the Caroline Barnes - Beauty Expert Edition is still on sale for just £74.00 and for ten products, of which eight are full-size, it is such amazing value for money. So here is what you can find inside:

Contents

Sculpted by Aimee Liquid Lights Gilded Glow
Described as being an instant pick me up in a tube, this champagne gold highlighter is said to help give the skin a natural glow as it's infused with subtle light-reflecting ingredients to give a dewy, luminous look.

Spectrum Collections KJH 2 Piece Face Brush Set
It has been some time since I got my hands on some new Spectrum Brushes, the last ones being the Ariel Disney Collection, which I just adore. This particular set features two essential brushes which are essential for creating a glowing complexion. Each brush has luxury cream coloured synthetic bristles and alongside the gold-hued copper ferrule, we have glossy olive-toned handles which are made from FSC sustainable wood. Brush 03 is the one you. We’d for using creams and powders while brush 06 is best for use with foundation.

Murad Intense Recovery Cream
I adore Dr Murad and every single product I have tried, I’ve loved. This Intense Recovery Cream, which I’ve already reviewed, is said to be perfect for skin which is dry or severely dry Formulated with microalgae extract, mirabilis Jalapa plant extract, shea butter and macadamia oil which come together to deeply hydrate, moisturise and soothe skin.

Kate Somerville Exfolikate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment.
Suitable for use twice a day, this cleansers exfoliating properties comes from two Alpha Hydroxy Acids (Glycolic and Lactic Acid) and with that is a blend of Papaya, Pumpkin and Pineapple Enzymes too. On the skin, the foaming wash not only buffs away at your skin’s surface to remove dead and dry skins, it also removes build up as it cleanses and refreshes your skin, all without being overly drying

Illasmasqua Elemental Artistry Palette
Created to celebrate the brand’s 10th anniversary, this palette is absolutely stunning and it features 12 highly pigmented smokey-eye shades - from neutrals to bold and even the shimmery, it's the universal palette everyone will love.

E.L.F Cosmetics Liquid Glitter Eyeshadow in Purple Reign.
Described as being a quick-drying, gel based formula, Purple Reign is a faded purple shade with its multi-dimensional glitters and pearls, looks absolutely stunning. Application with a short doe-footed applicator allows this eyeshadow to apply with ease and it has minimal fallout, perfect for wearing on its own or with other shades.

James Read H20 Tan Drops Face
These drops are designed to be used with your usual skincare or SPF. Described as being adaptable gradual tanning drops, they sink effortlessly into the skin to help build an even, radiant and streak free glow. Infused with ingredients such as soothing aloe vera and hyaluronic acid these drops are suitable for all skin tones, and are perfect for combining with your favourite moisturiser, serum, or foundation. With regular use, the complexion is said to appear healthier, more radiant and luminous.

MAX FACTOR Colour Elixir Lipstick – Pink Brandy
With its coral shade, slightly less orange and a little more pink, Pink Brandy is a perfect Spring and Summer lipstick shade. It applies like a balm and has a soft and smooth creamy texture to it with a little bit of shine.  It’s bright, totally out of my comfort zone, but it is a beauty .

DANIEL SANDLER Watercolour Liquid Cheek Colour – So Pretty.
I am always going to be a bronzer girl over a blusher but this Watercolour Liquid Cheek is just stunning. Described as being a medium-toned Pink shimmer, it is suitable for fair and medium skin tones. Lightweight on the skin, the formula is oil-free but it does use silicone so that your look is water-resistant and rub-proof, so once applied it will stay all day. Buildable so you can adapt the colour to look as you want it too, you can use your fingers, a sponge or a blush to apply and blend.

TRISH MCEVOY Intense Gel Eye Liner – Deep Aubergine
If you want to change that black eye liner to something deep but with a hint of colour, this is the one. Deeply pigmented, this gel eye liner, which is in a pencil form, so it is easy to apply and it has the added sponge on the opposite end for smudging.  As this is a gel liner, it glides onto the waterline effortlessly and without dragging or scratching. The colour is also stunning, think deep brown but with purple undertones, so it moves away from the harsh black but adds a little something extra to a brown shade without being too overly dramatic.

As you can see, for £74 this is quite an incredible box of products and whether you like skincare or makeup, there is a whole host of things to try and from some amazing brands.
