One of my absolutely favourite Skincare brands - Emma Hardie launched its first body care collection a few months ago and I have pretty much found my absolute favourites from the brand. If you aren't aware, Emma Hardie happens to have one of the most amazing Cleansing Balms with their Moringa Cleansing Balms and to make the entire collection even more special, there is a further trio of products being added to the range - a Luxury Bath and Shower Oil, a Body Butter and Hand and Nail Treatment SPF30 to create the Amazing Body Range and if that isn't enough, there is also a candle, which I adore so much I have bought three more as spares, but the candle is coming in another post.
The first product I could not wait to try is the Moringa Luxury Bath and Shower Oil (£38). If you are a fan of the Moringa Cleansing Balm, then you will understand just how incredible that scent is. Well take that scent and intensify it slightly to create a bath and shower oil and you have perfection in a bottle and it is THAT good.
This oil can be used both pre and post-bath time and not only is it incredible nourishing on the skin, the scent is also really relaxing and perfect for being part of your evening pamper session to unwind after a tough day. You can add just a capful of this oil directly into your bath as the water is running and as it comes into contact with steam, the fragrance of Moringa, Orange, Neroli, Mandarin, Jasmine and Rose essential oils really come to live and fill the room. If you want to use this in the shower, then the advice is to apply the oil all over your skin before stepping into the shower to allow it to nourish and moisturise your skin, then once in the shower, allow the warm water to gently wash it from the skin. Whichever way you choose to use this oil, not only is the scent it gives incredible, but it also leaves your skin soft, smooth, moisturised and nourished to the touch because alongside those essential oils you will also find the inclusion of hydrating and anti-inflammatory Vitamin E which works to combat dryness and soothe irritation.
Once out of the shower, it is time to grab that Moringa Luxury Body Butter 200ml (£38) and I openly admit that I am really lazy when it comes to using a body moisturiser of any kind on my skin but if I find a product that I like, then I am using it until there is nothing left - I have just ordered my second tub!
Described as being an indulgent melting body butter, it is rich in hydrating hemp seed, blackcurrant and of course those incredible and much loved moringa oils. Alongside the hemp seed and blackvurrant is the inclusion of Inchi oil and squalene which provide rich nourishment to the body and then we have both Aquazyl and hyaluronic acid which are described as being clinical actives that work to moisturise throughout all skin layers and rejuvenate the skin. It is, as you might expect fairly thick texture wise and its job is to hep condition the skin, reduce moisture loss, boost elasticity and rejuvenate, which is no mean feat for any product. I love this body butter applies like a dream, it absorbs much quicker than I had expected it too and once it has absorbed, it doesn't leave any greasy film on the skin, just that incredible scent which I could bottle.
The final product within this trio is the Moringa Luxury Hand & Nail Treatment SPF30 120ml, £30.00. I have used more hand creams and treatments in the last 2 years than I probably ever have done in my life time and this has been a much welcomed addition.
This deeply moisturising and nourishing hand treatment is described as being 'a pollution protector' and not only does it include Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin E to provide deep moisturisation and hydration, it also contains a SPF 30 for protection from the sun. On the skin, this hand and nail treatment is every bit as luxurious as you would expect from Emma Hardie, it is also non-greasy or tacky when applied. As you massage it into your hands and nails, that much loved scent comes to life to lightly fragrance the skin.
I think it is fairly obvious that I am just slightly obsessed with this trio and more so with the Candle, which is a review coming soon. For me, Emma Hardie is one of those Holy Grail brands that has an abundance of products I just cannot get enough of.
