Pixi Beauty Remedy Masks Review

I love a good facemask, whether it comes in the form of a sheet, gel, powder or liquid, there is nothing more relaxing than applying a face mask to your skin and taking some time for yourself, there should never be the need to take that time for yourself, it should be something we do regularly.  From Pixi, arriving just a few weeks ago was a trio of Remedy Masks, which I have been taking the time to use.

The Pixi Remedy Masks are priced at £20 each and they come packaged inside a large plastic jar with an accompanying spatula and with 300ml of product, you are going to really get some use out of them!  The three masks in question are the Rose Remedy Mask, Milky Remedy Mask and the Vitamin-C Remedy Mask, all of which can be used on their own or as Pixi have helpfully suggested, together as a multi-masking option.

The Rose Remedy Mask is designed to hydrate and replenish as well as to Nourish and Smooth and it is suitable for all skin types. Described as being a nourishing, toning jelly which is packed with nutrients and botanicals to help refresh and deeply nourish your skin.

Within this mask you will find Rosehip Oil which moisturises and restores, Argan Oil which deeply replenishes moisture and smooths the skin, Cica which not only heals and soothes but also hosts antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties too. The finally, Turmeric which has a whole host of beneficial properties for this skin and in this mask helps to provide antioxidant protection.

The second mask is the Milky Remedy Mask which is designed to be a soothing, toning jelly that is packed with nutrients and botanicals that are there to help revive your skin and it is, as with the Rose Remedy Mask, suitable for all skin types.

Within this mask you will find Coconut which works to nourish and condition the skin, Oat Extract whose job it is to soothe and hydrate, Chamomile which works to calm the skin as well as to soothe irritation and finally Sea Buckthorn which hydrates and works to reduce redness.

The final mask within this trip is the Vitamin-C Remedy Mask which is a brightening, toning jelly which is packed with nutrients and botanicals to help refresh and revitalise your skin and as the masks before it, it is suitable for all skin types.

Within this mask you will find Citrus which brightens and tones skin, Green Tea which firms but is also rich in Antioxidants, Ferulic Acid which provides an antioxidant boost and finally Ginseng which revitalise and balances the skin.

All these of these masks take up such little time within your routine when used.  Ideal for using both AM and PM, the advice is to apply a thick layer to your skin, avoiding the eye area, and allow to work their magic for up to ten minutes before washing off.  I mentioned earlier within this review that Pixi gives a helpful guide to multi-masking and it is as follows:
  • Nourish and energise use rose to forehead and cheeks, Vit-C to nose, chin and neck
  • Smooth and hydrate use milky TK the forehead and cheese and rose to the nose, chin and neck
  • Brightening and soothing use Vit-C to the forehead and cheeks and milky TK the nose, chin and neck
Priced at just £20 each, all three of these masks are on sale now and if I was to choose a favourite, I would struggle, because I love to multi-mask between Milky and Vit-C as they work so well with my skin.
