The latest launch from Emma Hardie is one I have been using for months now, but I really wanted to give it a try before sharing it on my blog. Said to be the first-ever clinically trialled product for the brand, the Midas Touch Super Serum is described as being one which effectively combats slackening skin, dehydration and dullness to reveal a simply gleaming finish.
Emma Hardie products are easily recognised in their gold packaging and for me, a serum is an absolute must-have product as part of my skincare routine. I have lost count as to how many serums I have tried and loved but this one is one I have tried, have loved and have ordered more.
Turn back the clock with Emma Hardie’s first-ever clinically trialled product: the Midas Touch Super Serum. The formula has been rigorously tested and clinically proven to minimise the appearance of wrinkles and increase skin hydration in just 4 weeks.
Quite the claim with this serum, but it is packed full of ingredients that my skin absolutely loves, ones you will have heard everyone rave about at some time and here they are all in one serum. So you will find the likes of bakuchiol, something many refer to as being nature's alternative to retinol, then we have niacinamide (Vitamin B3) which is not only skin brightening but also helps to reduce the appearance of skin blemishes and congestion, Squalene which helps to protect and moisturise the skin, Grape Seed Oil which is rich in linoleic acid, a useful fatty acid which helps moisturise the skin. Then we have Vitamin C to reduce pigmentation, Vitamin E to condition the skin plus there's Aloe Vera and Shea Butter, the list of course goes on!
On the skin, this serum is incredibly lightweight and the formula is said to contain what is referred to as ultra filling spheres, their job is to deliver lifting and firming action which in turn helps to diminish the look of fine lines, then sending a surge of intense moisture upon contact with the skin’s surface, it further helps to create that plumper, dewier-looking complexion that is described as being one which 'glows with renewed radiance'.
On the skin, there is no greasy feel to this serum once it has been applied, it melts on contact with the skin and absorbs really quickly. Despite having combination-oily skin, I also have very dehydrated patches, not helped by the fact I spend a good 7-8 hours a day in front of my laptop or desk top at work, so as well as a face mist which I spray as religiously as I apply lip balm, this serum is one I use twice a day, always after cleansing and before my moisturising cream. The end result? My skin absolutely loves it, my skin feels hydrated, none of those pesky dry patches hanging about on my cheeks or forehead, my skin has a subtle but natural glow and it works well with all the other products in my routine without causing any break outs or reactions!
It is an absolute delight to use, smells incredible and you can find it via Lookfantastic, Cult Beauty, Space NK and Marks & Spencer to name a few places! If you see it, grab it!
