Giorgio Armani - My Way Eau de parfum

The newest release from Giorgio Armani is My Way, a Floral Fragrance for women which I have been wearing for some time now and it is one of those fragrances which captures your attention quite quickly.
Giorgio Armani - My Way Eau de parfum
This is my first fragrance from the Armani range for quite a few years and they never do fail to impressed. The description of My Way draws you in and captures your attention.
My Way is said to have been inspired by the genuine search for meaning and authenticity that lies outside oneself, ultimately creating a more profound way of being. Through the influence of serendipitous encounters and new experiences, one discovers one’s own multifaceted depths. Intimate yet universal, “I am what I live” encapsulates this ethos.
From the bottle to the cap and even the box, everything with this fragrance is recyclable and refillable - this really impressed me! The bottle comes with the most stunning blue stone cap which is wrapped around by a golden ring, this is supposed to be a talisman which is said to bring good fortune and luck.

The fragrance which sits within the floral family has top notes of Bergamot and Orange Blossom, so as you can expect, it does have that strong citrus scent and once which is immediately uplifting, the heart notes of Tuberose and Jasmine bring to life the floral side of the fragrance and as they intertwine with the citrus notes, they settle to work incredibly well together, toning down the sharpness of the citrus for that much softer side.  The base notes of Cedarwood, Vanilla and White Musks bring about a softer side to the rest of the notes and allows the floral heart notes through to settle on the skin.

I hadn't expected to like this fragrance because of the inclusion of vanilla, but instead I absolutely love it. The vanilla scent as a note isn't strong enough to dominate and overshadow everything else because of the cedarwood which creates an almost sweet base.  For me, the star of the show is the opening notes of Bergamot and Orange Blossom, that initial blast of citrus capturing your attention.  On the skin it impresses with its longevity and lasts for 5-6 hours before you could re-apply if you have somewhere to go of an evening, but even without re-application you can still just about get a sense of the fragrance later into the evening.

This fragrance is on sale with The Perfume shop in three sizes 30ml is £55, 50ml is £76 and then finally we have 90ml for £103.
