The October Glossybox is one of the best I have had this year, limited edition boxes aside. Taking on the theme of Enchanting Spirits, The Beauty Tales - a mystical folklore revered as holding the secrets to eternal beauty and youth. There are two boxes on offer this month... will you have the Enchanted Spirit or the Midnight Fantasy? I have the latter.
This box is filled with five entrancing lotions and potions and there is also a sample sized Dairy Milk Dark which barely made it into the photograph before I ate it because I adore Dark Chocolate. The chosen contents of this box are said to relax and soothe your mind as well as transform the look and feel of your skin.
The first product out of the box really excites me because it is a brand I have wanted to try for a long time having seen it explode across my Instagram feed and being a K-Beauty brand makes me want it all the more. The Essential Real Eye Cream for Face by AHC is described as being the elixir of youth, a face cream which has all the benefits of a concentrated eye cream, but can be used on your entire face.
Formulated with hyaluronic acid, peptides and vitamins the cream is really lightweight, much more so than I was expecting it to be, it isn't thick or tacky when applied to the skin and it is really hydrating. Designed to be used before bed, it ticks even more boxes for me, so much so I have ordered a full-sized tube.
Next out of the box from Bubble T Cosmetics LTD is the Star Dust Foaming Bath Powder and it smells just incredibly good.
Designed to create a mood boosting bath time, the uplifting scent of rose which I adore because it is less synthetic and more real rose. To use, you sprinkle toe foaming powder into the bath whilst the water is running and like magic, the bath transforms.
Moving from skincare to makeup, this box features three makeup items. The first out of the box comes rom Luna by Luna with the Pixie Lipstick.
Pixie is a bright reddish pink shade and is described as having a smooth formula which glides effortlessly onto the lips. Richly pigmented, it does dry out the lips or leave them in need of moisture.
From The Beauty Crop we have the Starglazing Blush Duo which comes packaged inside the most beautiful outer box which is a real dark purple shade and really in-keeping with the Glossybox packaging.
Sitting within the compact is a duo of blushes, on the left handside there is a rose gold shade of blusher which is really pretty and one which you could actually double up as an eyeshadow and then on the right is a much pinker shade of blush which is slightly more pigmented.

The final item within the box comes from Illamasqua and it is a product I have used for many years, back when I was first introduced to it in the store. The Hydra Veil Primer come packaged inside the cutest of pots.
Described as being a part hydrator and part primer, the hydra veil hydrates and smooth the skin using Microalgea, vitamin C and B3 which work together to give your skin that a healthy look, then we have plant extracts which help to calm and refresh. I really like the texture of this product, it is almost gel like in how it looks and feels, but once on the skin, it is so smooth and makes a great base for makeup.
I think this is a great box and I love the theme to it, as I am sure you are aware is a membership subscription service and it costs as little as £8.50 per month here*. If you have followed the Glossybox journey over the past year, then you will know that most boxes sell out super quickly, so I expect this one to do just that.
