Advent Calendar season has well and truly started and already there is so much to choose from. One thing that always stands out is how each calendar is, like most beauty halls, aimed at women - something I’ve always argued is unfair. Sure I spend a fair amount of money on makeup and skincare, so do a lot of my Male friends, yet the one reason they don’t go to department stores is because they don’t feel brands have anything to offer them.
For 2020, there has been a few Advent Calendars aimed at men and there are ones which stand out.
Liberty Men's Grooming Calendar
Liberty always have one of the most iconic advent calendars and this year, their grooming calendar is pretty fabulous. It contains £460 worth of products from brands such as Claus Porto, Ruffians and Susanne Kaufmann. It goes on sale for £195 on 7th October.
I have a full review of this calendar here.
Mr Porter - The Net A Porter advent calendar for 2020 is amazing and again this year, there is Mr Porter for the men and it too is amazing.
It contains 12 skin, hair and body products including Augustinus Bader, Elemis, 111Skin and Dr Dennis Gross to name a few. It is said to go on sale in early November and will be priced at £105 here.
Next - Again this year, Next are releasing two advent calendars and the one for him is pretty good for the price and it is available right now.
Featuring 24 days, behind each door you will find brands such as Elemis, LAB Series, Liz Earle and Hugo Boss. The contents are worth over £200 yet the calendar costs just £69.
Again, there is a full review of this calendar here.
ASOS - Here we have a 12 Day Grooming Advent Calendar and I think it is pretty good!
Inside you can see brands such as LAB Series, Bull Dog and The Ordinary. The calendar is on sale now and it costs just £35 here*.
If you want to know what’s inside, I have a full review of this calendar here.
Barber Pro - This is a 12 days of grooming essentials for men and it includes a selection of masks from the Foaming Cleansing Mask to the Calming Under Eye Mask.
The contents of this advent calendar are said to be £59 but it is on sale now for just £35 and it does make a really lovely gift.
Clarins - This year again, there is a his and hers option available which I have shared here on my blog and what I love about this one is that it contains a whole host of skincare that my mister would actually use.
This one is a 12 days of Christmas with Clarins and it features some well known products such as the Anti-Fatigue Eye Cream. The contents are said to be worth over £119 but it is on sale for £60 via Boots.I am hoping that other brands will make an effort to product a calendar for the men in our lives, with these three offerings, I know my hubby would be more than happy with any of them!
