Cocosolis Collagen Booster Dry Oil

I was introduced to Cocosolis by the lovely Tracey over at Fighting Fifty and if she raves about a product, you know it is a good one! The lovely people behind the brand kindly send me the Cocosolis Collagen Booster Dry Oil to try and I can see why Tracey is such a fan.

The team behind Cocosolis believe that only genuinely healthy, organic and completely natural products should be developed and to that end, each ingredient is carefully, based on where it comes from, how it is grown, how it is harvested and how it is processed. All of the oils are sourced from all over the world and are used within the products are cold-pressed from raw seeds and nuts.

I was very kindly gifted the Cocosolis Collagen Booster Dry Oil (£27) which is described as being a natural collagen booster with an anti-age effect for both your face and body. The product is a mixture of the 8 precious oils of exotic and superfruits and a special natural active ingredient that stimulates the production of collagen in the skin alongside the following:
  • Pomegranate oil - This oil not only stimulates the production of collagen and elastin – which tightens and smoothes the skin but also accelerates the regeneration of tissues, improves blood circulation and relieves sunburn. Pomegranate oil also has anti-inflammatory properties and helps to fight wrinkles and fine lines by hydrating the skin.
  • Passion Fruit - With its high levels of vitamin C and antioxidants it is the ideal moisturiser for all types of skin, and is said to work especially well for oily skin because of its anti-clogging and moisturising action. Passion Fruit also protects, rejuvenates and balances the skin.
  • Goji Berry - This helps to level the skin’s texture, maintain moisture and it also makes the skin feel soft and smooth. It contains 18 amino acids, 21 micronutrients, vitamin A, B-complex, C and E, and is an excellent antioxidant, which nourishes and moisturises the skin.
  • Rosehip Oil - Helps to regenerate and smooth the skin and removes scars. Known for its moisturising properties which penetrate the skin helping to rebalance.
  • Cocoa Butter - Known for its moisturising and nourishing properties and it helps to rehydrate the skin.
  • Hemp Seeds - These seeds help to combat dry skin and the Vitamin E in the seeds helps reduce the appearance of stretch marks and cellulite. The zinc it contains helps repair damaged tissue, and magnesium, which passes through the lower layers of the skin, literally heals damaged cells.
  • Coconut Oil - Again used for its ability to moisturise and nourish the skin because it is full of essential fatty acids, vitamin E and vitamin K.
  • Sesame oil - Used because of its ability to detoxify, moisturise and soothe the skin. It also has a high content of Omega 6 fatty acids and oleic and linoleic acids, sesame oil softens and nourishes the skin and improves its elasticity.
What I love about this dry oil is that it is just that, dry. On the skin it absorbs really quickly, it is not at all greasy, it doesn't leave a film on the skin, in fact, the only reason you know it was there, other than having super smooth skin there is this wonderful scent of fruits that lingers for a good while after application.  As a dry oil, you can apply this and get dressed without the fear of staining your clothes or, if like me, it is something you use in an evening, it won't stain those bedsheets either.

This Cocosolis Collagen Booster Dry Oil retails for £27 and can be found from Cocosolis.
