ECooking Body Lotion

ECooking is a Danish beauty brand whom I have featured previously on my blog Tina Søgaard, the founder of the brand, started out by hand-mixing raw ingredients at her kitchen table to create skincare for herself, they produced results so noticeable that all of her family and friends were desperate to get their hands on her homemade concoctions.  Over time, I have used quite a few products from the range, the Multibalm being one of my absolute favourites to have within my stash.  Today, it is the turn of the Ecooking Body Lotion and again, it is quite something.
ECooking Body Lotion
Packaged inside a hefty bottle with a pump, this body lotion is packed full of amazing ingredients to hydrate, moisturise, smooth and firm the skin which includes:

  • Hyaluronic acid, also called HA, which moisturises your skin and works in the lower layers of skin, thereby giving the skin the shot of hyaluronic acid and collagen that we lose with age. A unique skin booster and moisturiser.
  • Niacinamide, better known as Vitamin B3, helps the skin reduce fine lines and adjust the structure of the skin. With a high proportion of niacinamide (5%), your skin gets an effective remedy for, among other things, orange skin and pigment stains, and at the same time, your skin becomes smoother and gives a delicious glow.
Alongside those two hero ingredients, you will find the likes of Natural olive oil, Organic shea butter, Natural jojoba oil, Organic argan oil, Ecologic glycerine, Natural aloe vera, Organic cucumber water, Natural Vitamin E and Natural sunflower oil.

When it comes to using a body cream or a lotion, I am not a fan of something that is overly thick, unless it is meant to be left on overnight, because this lotion has a pump for dispensing the cream, what you get is a really lovely lightweight texture which absorbs really easily and quickly onto the skin.  It isn't greasy or tacky when applied and once it has disappeared it leaves behind the most amazing scent of jasmine, grapefruit and orange blossom lingering on the skin.

There are seldom few body lotions and creams that I ever make my way through, but give me something with a pump that I can keep on my bedside table or beauty drawers, the chances are every time I walk past, I am going to use it.  For me, using this lotion as soon as I have bathed or showered is my preference, just as the skin is still damp rather than dry.

Ecooking is a cruelty-free brand; they do not test any of their products on animals. All of these products are natural, organic, paraben-free and vegan. This brand is now available from Cult Beauty and Feel Unique.
