With Valentines and Galentines Day just around the corner, there is no end of gifts you can buy for those loved ones in your life. Whether it is chocolate, perfume, lingerie or makeup, there is something for everyone. From Erborian we have the Colour Pen.
I am a huge fan of Erborian and have featured many of their products here on my blog, including one of the latest launches CC Red Correct - here.
The Erborian Lip Colour Pen's are available in two shades - Hot Cherry and Sweet Poppy and they are said to have been inspired by the latest in Korean technology and are designed to sculpt your lips because of their high-precision tip and they give an amazing pop of colour depending on your preference. I really like the precision tip, it is so easy to work with and it needs just one swipe across my lips to leave behind the most amazing finish, which surprisingly is matte, but a very comfortable matte.
If you like your red shades, then Hot Cherry is the perfect shade for days when you're feeling bold and daring. What I love about this shade is just how bold it is and I am not someone who ever feels comfortable wearing red.
The second shade is a little more subtle. Sweet Poppy is said to offer a gorgeous, soft poppy red, although on the swatch you can see below, the light has caught the shot and it looks slightly orange in comparison, but it is a subtle red.
Both of these Colour Pens are enriched with some amazing ingredients, including

- Japanese Camellia leaf extract (Camellia japonica) Antioxidant, prevents signs of ageing, preserves skin elasticity and firmness
- Sodium hyaluronate Moisturises and prevents skin dehydration, helps to maintain natural hydration
- Trehalose Prevents skin dehydration, helps to maintain skin water, moisturises.
Both pens are priced at £18 from Erborian and for me, the huge selling point is just how amazing the tips are, so easy to use to both line your lips and then fill in with colour and they last all day! If you are still not sold on the matte finish, you could add a gloss or balm over the top to give that shine.
