Glossybox - Back To 'Beauty' School Edition

Whilst September means the start of the new school year, for Glossybox, it means the start of the new 'Beauty' school year and this months box has been expertly curated to bring 6 products which are designed to help you prep and get organised.  Within this box, you will find products for the skin, some makeup, your hair, your lips and even your brows!

Glossybox - Back To 'Beauty' School Edition
The first item out of the box is the BeautyPro Detoxifying Bubbling Mask with Activated Charcoal. Now I love a good mask and right now, I am loving masks which bubble, they are so much fun and when life has been a bit stressful, you need a bit of fun.

Using activated charcoal, often described as being a miracle worker for blemish prone skin, alongside extracts of lime, lemon, apple, orange and grapefruit (this is how I get my 5 a day) this mask is a self-foaming sheet mask that rids skin of daily dirt, oil and impurities. It's not tested on animals and it is free from parabens, mineral oils, lanolin and petroleum and best of all it is just £4.95 and you can even find it in Sainsbury's!

The second item out of the box is the Your Facial Mini Scrubber. Coming all the way from the USA, this dual texture facial scrubber is made using soy and a natural cotton base layer which helps to create a really rich lather.

Said to be perfect for sensitive skin, it has been dermatologically tested, is cruelty free and is perfect for travelling.  So it is coming with me to EuroDisney in 7 weeks time and it retails for £8.85!

Next comes an Eyebrow Cream from Bang Beauty. Admittedly this is not a brand I have heard of before and one of the reasons I love beauty boxes is for this reason.  We all know how popular the brows are and what a difference they can make to your makeup look and even your face.

This Eyebrow Cream has a really creamy consistency and lightweight when using. It comes with its own angled brush for application and it would give some other HD Brow products a real run for their money.  I have the shade Milk Chocolate, which is a slightly too dark for my brows, but if I apply it lightly enough and use my spoolie, I can get it to work.  Priced at £16.80.

One item of makeup I never ever seem to purchase are Lip Liners and within this months Glossybox we have a Karl Lagerfeld Lip Liner in shade Rosewood.

Lining your lips is said to be essential for defining and prolonging the wear of your lipstick (oops) and this liner is made of a soft wax which gives a really creamy formula to work with. The shade, Rosewood will work with quite a few of my lipsticks, so I am keen to give it a try. Priced at £25.

Item number five from Glossybox comes from the Grow Gorgeous brand and it is a product I really like and am glad to have back in my stash and that is Scalp Detox. Scalp Dexotxing should be as much a part of your routine as using an exfoliator on the face.

This little number uses natural Castor Oil Beads, White Willow Bark extract and Pomegranate Fruit Enzymes to gently exfoliate the scalp, providing a deep, intensive clean that eliminates clogging impurities, product build up, dry skin and dandruff to create the ideal environment for hair growth. I have combination hair which means oily roots and dry ends and having oily roots often means a dry scalp, so products such as this are amazing to use. A deluxe mini at 50ml and worth £7.37.

The final item in this months Glossybox is a packet of Be Fresh Antibacterial Wipes from Wet Ones and whilst I don't use them on my face to remove makeup, I do use them to remove swatches before washing my hands and arms and I do have some on my desk at work just in case.  Worth £1.19.
